I was hesitant because of the low price but this keyless entry system is worth every penny. The remotes are nice quality, not big and bulky, instructions are not very helpful but google is. After I figured out the proper wiring for my car on a Corvette forum, none of the diagrams supplied worked for my application but once I figured it out installation was simple and now I have keyless entry. My car had existing actuators and switches on the doors but I had to use a key to open the doors from the outside now I push a button like a modern car. I am thrilled with this and highly recommend for a C4 Corvette for sure and anyone looking for a inexpensive system like this. There are a lot of other features that I didn't care to hook up yet like windows and flashing lights but the locks work great. Next I'm doing the rear hatch but I need to access the wires. Update..have installed the trunk release and like some other reviews you have to hold the button for a full 3 seconds for the hatch to pop which is annoying but still better than opening the door and reaching in to push the hatch release button like I previously had to. Just google your car’s wiring diagram and find the right colors under your dash. Connect the right color wires from your car to the Benvie’s wires, and in less than 30 mins I had a working system. You will need some extra wire of your own, the wires in this kit are way too short. My car is a 93 Del Sol and I hate using the key for the trunk and doors all the time. Now I have a button for my trunk and my driver side door. Eventually I’ll do the passenger side door too, but not a priority. The hard part is removing panels and tucking the wires. So in total, including the wiring, dash and side panel removal, troubleshooting, mounting lock/unlock actuators that cost like 5 bucks each, I probably spent like 4 hours. Lots of troubleshooting to get those actuators working properly every time you push the button, but the Benvie itself is easy to install and understand. Might be more difficult installing on a car that already comes with automatic door locks, but the actuators were easy to wire up following the wire diagram. What I did was pull the door panel off and wire it straight to the lock/unlock switch on the door. Then you only need to use the white fused one and the white black one to the switch. The orange wire and the orange black wire goes with the positive power. The white wire is the lock the white black is unlock. The red,orange, and the orange black goes to the hot wire you are using. Must be all the time hot. And the black is your round abs it must be a good ground to work correctly. **Q: Can you add additional remotes?** A: This is something I wanted to know too. Though the kit comes with 2 remotes, only once can be paired at a time. This is slightly inconvenient but still a great kit. **Q: Does this use 2032 batteries? This item works as good as any other cheap electronics you can purchase. The issue I have is that the jumper to switch between a 5 second pulse and a .5 second pulse doesn't seem to work. When I unlock or lock the vehicle the lights stay illuminated for 5 seconds before flashing to show if it is locked or not. Maybe this is how it's supposed to work and instructions just aren't clear. I contacted seller for clarification but got no response.
