German EKG Caliper

I am currently enrolled in an EKG certification course and these Calipers are perfect for the class. These calipers are a tremendous help with determining the regularity of the rhythm (R-R and P-P intervals). Some of my classmates use the same model caliper to measure the waves and intervals but I find it easier to count the squares on the EKG paper.The price is great for these calipers. They feel sturdy and I have no fear of breaking them (hence I keep them at the bottom of a crowded backpack). The plastic cover fits snugly on the calipers so it wont fall off but it is still easily removed. The pins are very sharp and strong which make tracing intervals too easy. Well worth the money even for a quick EKG certification course.

I am a monitor tech in the ICU so I'm measuring heart rhythms by the hundreds on a nightly basis. Because of this I'm really picky about my calipers. I've ordered others from Amazon but was not happy with them. This is the first pair I've been really satisfied with. They are the right size and weight. They don't feel cheap. And you can adjust the tension as well as the needle length. I plan to order a few more.

Needed this for an EKG course I was required to fulfill prior to receiving my Graduate RN job. I didn't want to use the old paper method so I decided to buy a good caliper. I searched around and read reviews on other calipers before buying this one. Many reviews stated that some calipers were loose or flimsy and didn't hold up well. I took the risk and bought this Prestige German EKG Caliper. I'm glad it all worked out because this product definitely passed the test! I was able to pass my EKG exam with the help of this caliper. It holds up very well and doesn't loosen up when using it. It's very sturdy and brings a mini black covering to protect the sharp tips of the caliper. So far I'm very satisfied with most of the products I've brought from Prestige so I know I've picked a reliable brand.

Great, well made calipers. I use these for reading EKGs and telemetry analysis with ease. They fit easily in my pocket.I'm also a woodworker and have found them to hold their measurements well and to be helpful with joinery and setting dovetails.

I bought a pair of EKG calipers from a medical supplier who came to our school...figured that they were all the same and what difference did it make. I was wrong...thankfully they're pretty cheap. The pair I got from the supplier was cheap, after a few uses the two arms were no longer stiff and moved around while I was trying to measure/compare parts of the 12 lead.These are great...adjustable points, arms can be tightened. They're simple but just what you need.Buy them directly from Amazon.com though. After seeing mine a friend bought them from one of the "all offers" below the add-to-cart option and they weren't the same...buy these, make sure they're the ones pictured.

I've never used a pair of calipers before so I can only compare by what others have said. They felt very sturdy, measured precisely, were used consistently through a training class for 3 weeks and did not loosen. They also came with a cover.

Very good construction and function at a good price.
