Stanley Classic Legendary Vacuum Bottle

This bottle is a beast. It’s incredibly rugged and feels like it could survive a drop off a mountain. I took it on a long trip and it kept my coffee piping hot for well over 15 hours. The 1.5 qt capacity is the perfect "sweet spot"—it’s enough to share but still fits easily in a backpack side pocket. If you want a flask that lasts a lifetime, this is the one.

Very nice thermos kept things hot for a very long time

First and foremost, this is the third brand of the thermos bottle that I bought with in a month. Unfortunately, the other two brands Thermos King 68oz and Fijoo were both returned due to unsatisfactory heat retention performance. Upon receipt of this order I've noticed that the cap has a little dimple on top and my first reaction was, Uh oh! This must have been dropped and returned. However, upon further inspection, the inside and outside of the bottle looked clean and new. But, I couldn't tell if the product is functioning properly just by the looks. Therefore, I called the company and told them about my concern. I also asked how did they come up with their claim of 40 hours heat retention, but, I couldn't get that answer while on the phone, although, I was promised, that they will get back to me in a few days. In the meantime while waiting for the company's response, I have conducted a simple test of my own using boiling water (212 degrees F), prep the thermos with boiling water for 10 minutes, dump the water, refilled the thermos with boiling water, secure the lid (stopper) and capped for 40-41 hours unopened. This test was conducted three different times within roughly a week and, at the conclusion, I am convinced that the "40 HOURS HEAT RETENTION" was, in fact, true! I was not able to cap the 212 degrees F temperature inside the thermos bottle although it was still boiling when poured, as the water was exposed to the room temperature. No matter how I tried, the temperature dropped 3 degrees before completely capping the bottle. Staring Temperature recorder: 209.3 degrees F Duration of Test: 41 hours Test conducted: 3X Ending Temperature recorder: 137.46 degrees F Difference: 71.9 degrees (209-3 - 137.4) Average Hourly Temperature Drop: 1.75 degrees 137.46 degrees F temperature is still HOT and will burn tongues! Note: The temperature of the liquid inside the thermos bottle determines the length of time the heat will be retained. The test that I have conducted convinced me that this 1.5QT Classic Legendary STANLEY Vacuum Insulated Bottle did, in fact, hold the "40 hours heat retention" that the company claimed. Furthermore, not only, that the product is of high quality, but also, it has a lifetime warranty! I love the color and I'm sold. BTW, I just received the TEST GRAPH from the company and it is similar to my test. The difference was, theirs were recorder in Centigrade, and just slightly higher starting temperature.

Have had this thermos for years and use it a lot, never leaks and keeps hot beverages hot for a long time. Extremely durable and exactly what you would expect from a legendary Stanley product! Black color doesn't wear off or fade either which is a perk!

Stanley Classic Vacuum: the thermos I was looking for It has one of those metal lines, it keeps your drink hot for hours, its insulation is on steroids. It keeps my coffee at the correct temperature all day long no matter if I am outside or just commuting. The robust stainless steel design will provide a impression of security that this knife is up to the task for daily use, or even aggressive outdoor activities. It is in a nice classic design, quite portable too as the lid serves as its own cup. Bonus: It is leak-proof so I never worry about leakage in my bag. It is also easy to clean and durable for years. Conclusion – Who Will Want the Stanley Classic Vacuum If you prioritize long-lasting durability and performance in a thermos, then this is your go-to travel mug for coffee. Highly recommended

The bottle feels sturdy and doesn’t leak at all, which is great. But mine arrived with scratches and dents on both the lid and bottom, so it wobbles on flat surfaces. Also, it’s quite tall with a narrow opening and my hand doesn’t fit inside (and I have small hands), so cleaning it would definitely need a long brush. Nice quality overall, but a few drawbacks.

This is an excellent thermos bottle. Rugged and holds a lot of liquid.

I love my big Stanley, it can keep the water cold and hot for a long time, you can feel the quality and receive a lot and hits and it can resist anything! Is easy to open and use. It is a big thermo so the design is perfect for what it is and the grip is great for what you get! LOVE IT 20/10

Keeps the hot water hot for a really long time!

Coloquei água fervendo 12:00 as 18:00 abri pra ver ,e ainda estava quente ao ponto de queimar, repeti o teste as 00:00 e novamente as 05:00 e continuava do mesmo jeito! Quase 18 horas com a água extremamente quente,para o meu uso e mais que suficiente, o preço e um pouco alto , mas acredito que pela qualidade e durabilidade vale a pena.

Purchased for my mom to use during winter storms/hurricanes. We tested it out and it works amazing. Keeps coffee hot for two days. It's a very large so it holds enough to get you through a couple of days. I highly recommend this product. It was well worth the money.

Been very happy with this product. Bought as a gift for someone that works outside on 12-hour shifts in extreme weather conditions. Even in -40C temperatures, coffee remained 'slightly less hot' by the time a 12 hour shift was coming to an end. Holds a little more than a pot of coffee. My only complaint is the lid came dented upon arrival, which I think was damagaed during shipping as the thermos was moving around quite abit in the box (wish it had some bubble wrap or something).
