No doubt just the difficulties i have been having getting the medications right, like giving it to him and then later finding it on the floor (one of the three pills) , or me just forgetting to give all of them to him, there are 4 different occasions throughout the day. i sometimes outright forgot, even setting a timer. Before this pill cutter, i was always taking the larger piece and breaking a bit off of it to add to the smaller piece. :( Now, i have a huge collection of evenly cut half pills. This is one of those really good product experiences that makes me feel happy when i think about it. It totally works, way better than hoped for or imagined. i didn't even realize how wonderfut it would be to have a supply of already split pills and not have to even think about cutting them. i have only used it on those few attempts on the day i got it so i don't know if it holds up, but i can see that i'm not even going to have to use it very often because it cuts so many at once so i'm expecting it to last. I have been able to cut a very small pill in half and then cut the halves into fourths, which were just a tad over 1/16th inch square. (The pill was for my kitty.)
