I do purchase one with no case included. **Q: Is this meter US made?** A: Does not say on meter, instruction booklet says Made in China. The probes included are nice and of decent quality. I have not had it long enough to see how long the battery life is. The casing seems very durable and should be able to withstand lots of falls, though I have no intention of ever dropping or throwing mine. The screen is very easy to read, large number.I have used several different brands on Multimeters in my time as an Electrical Engineer and Greenlee definitely makes the best. At work all we use is Fluke brand meters and they are awesome, but I think the Greenlee is just more accurate and a lower price.There is not a whole lot more that I can say about this. It works as expected and does everything perfectly. Readings all seem very accurate and there is no noticeable delay to get a reading.
