Really great value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great update to old speakers *by S***. on 26 July 2025* I have an old Philips portable speaker which is excellent in terms of the sound quality and bass it produces, so good I don’t want to get rid of it. However it had the old 30 pin Apple connector on it. Previously I had been able to use a converter to the Lightning socket with older iPhones but it still meant you had to get up and change your songs when you wanted to. This is a fabulous device as it simply links your iPhone via Bluetooth. On testing if worked first time and I was rattling off some 80’s hits in no time. However, it was working fine one moment and then suddenly i couldn’t change the volume using my phone! I had to drop my Bluetooth connection and reset it and it was fine again.
