Worked perfectly!
Worked exactly as described! I used it for a class illustration at VBS and it really got the kids attention. After class they all wanted to play with the magic sand, they had a lot of fun with it.

Not as advertised......got wet minute it touched water!
If I could give no stars, I would. My son bought with his own money. The minute he put in water......the sand was wet. He would scoop out, as advertised......it was wet sand. Nothing magic about it!!!! If he didn’t throw in the garbage before I could put it back in the container, I would have sent it back in the wet state it was in and got a refund! Absolute crap! The sand was instantly WET the minute it touched the water!

blue gets wet
The yellow sand is awesome but the blue sad gets wet and dyes the water. also not very much sand

Great experiment
I purchased this as replacement play food for a toy turtle my daughter has that goes potty. It works perfect. It’s nice to have a good amount for extra play and experimenting . Really good product , it amazes me how cool it works.

Cool but frustrating to put away
I love the science behind this and my daughter loved playing with it, but once it was in the water and it was time to put it away, it was ridiculously difficult to get the sand out of the water and put back in the jar. The instructions just said it would dry and we could put it back in the jar but we had it in a big pan of water that wasn’t going to just dry up. We had to empty the water and the sand was floating right out with it. I ended up having to scoop the sand out with a spoon and that was frustrating because the sand kind of floats around since it repels water. Overall, not worth the cool factor. I got most of it back in the can but so much ended up in the trash and honestly we’ll probably being throwing out what is left.
