Product did the job but a little pricey could find a better price at local big box stores

Works like a charm. I was renovating my bathroom and found that they had not used a box for the vanity light when they built the house. Unfortunately the studs were not close enough so I opted for one of these and glad I did. With a w.25 hole saw, I had the new light done in about an hour (assembly included). I WOULD definately purchase these again!

Nice size box for ceiling installation. Biggest convenient plus was the enclosed stencil for the electrical box. Cut out exactly to the stencil was a perfect fit.

The wings would not extend. I had to work them with my fingers for a bit and move the screw in and out before it would function like it is supposed to.

It was my first time mounting an electric box, and was not too sure if I would get it right. I was kind of surprised to get it installed on the first try. The flaps opened up all the way and the box stayed put and leveled.

This product was used in replacing a builders bathroom vanity kight with a new one. The box was necessary to mount the light and keep things safe. Remember to work the three clips to get them moving and avoid any snaps. I would buy this product again.

I used this product to install a sconce in our bedroom. When cutting the drywall, ensure that there is sufficient material for the anchor to latch onto securely. Once properly fastened, the installation is remarkably sturdy.

Ordered this item after removing a ceiling light that didn't have a junction box or mounting stud. The 3 clamp screws holding the box to the drywall were really tight so turning them back + forth before installation loosened them up and made installation much easier. A hard to find item here - dinging it a star due to the price.
