They are useful for the planned camera applications but also for amateurs using spectrometers looking for ways to evaluate scatter. If they could I would like to suggest another product -- 360-830nm corresponding to the range used in chromaticity calculations. It may be a niche market, but I am sure that some may appreciate being able to simply use a filter for both reducing scatter by reducing the wavelength window and expanding the range over this product for better evaluations for the x,y and other color parameters.
