VIOFO CPL-100 Filter for A119M Pro, A119 MINI 2, A129 Plus/Pro Duo, A119 V3

I had originally wrote a different review that Amazon apparently did not like, but thankfully I figured out the issues I was having. My original review focused on the filter making the image blurry and having to deal with the rainbow circles like others on here. I have since figured out both issues.Starting with the blurry, there was a protective film on the inside of the lens that I somehow missed and I feel stupid for not noticing it immediately.Now the big one. The rainbow rings, at least for me, were caused by having the static sheet be partially in the camera's fov and the way light was diffused caused the ugly colors.Now that both issues are fixed this is a wonderful filter that really does help to reduce reflections from my dashboard and makes the image look nicer.

I have used a VIOFO dash cam for about a year now and this polarizing lens really makes a difference. It really cleans up the image.Spend the few bucks this cost. Otherwise you will look back and wish you did.Be sure to get the extreme duty Sd card since the cam is doing a considerable amount of writing.The lens cover is a quick and easy install.

Fits my Viofo dash cam perfectly, but you do need to rotate the glass filter itself inside the clip for the best glare removal.

Working well so far on VIOFO 119 Mini 2 camera. Does what a circular polarizer is supposed to without too much effect on exposure value.

It works. Cuts down the reflective glare from the dashboard and bright lights. Just snaps on

Recordings are much clearer due to the reduction of glare and reflections that appear when recording through a vehicle window. I highly recommend this filter. However, see the following Note:Note: Not all vehicle windows are compatible with polarizing filters. Although the polarizing filter works well through my vehicle's front windshield, the polarizing filter does not work well though the rear-facing window. This is not a fault of the polarizing filter, but with how the layered vehicle windows are manufactured, which in one vehicle may vary front, rear, and side windows.

I received an open box product. It was clearly used as I could see finger prints on the lens too
