I contacted kootek, not because I expect a freebie because it was my fault, but to see if they could sell me just that band. While they were not able to do that, they did continue a relatively long correspondence with me to try to find a solution to my issue which we did find. They demonstrated excellent service and excellent communication to help me find a resolution to my problem. The light, extra light, etc. bands still smell but I'm sure the smell will go away the more I use them.
