Excellent ND filter
I've been using this ND filter for 2 months now and I love it!! The black x isn't bad at all, and only happens on the highest setting. I wish it stopped after the "Max" or "min" settings, but it just keeps spinning. Picture quality looks good with this on

Not very sharp
Blurring becomes increasingly worse with focal length. From 200-300mm image is unusable.

Could be better
It's a nice variable ND filter. There are few quality problems. It has vignetting effect when turned to maximum. Quality is not bad.

Ghosting and blurry
I purchased this ND filter new through a local camera shop, not Amazon. I may have a bad copy or it's just inherent of this filter or all variable filters. I'm getting a ton of blurred images, and I've done A/B testing with it on and off and it's not my camera or my lens. I'll edit my review with pictures (on and off) shortly. The pictures just simply aren't even usable.
