As to the review talking about Home Depot, the super expensive unit he claims to have gone and bought has alligator clips with rubber guards on them?? The ionexx does look possibly hand made and, last time I checked, that was a good thing. It doesn't leak, it has an overfill port. Now, I watched the video for the other unit and I'm sure it's fine, but this is my point: If at 9 p.m., when you realize you or your child has a scratchy throat, you want to head out to the garage\shop like the guy in the video and fire up your half gallon beaker and, according to their own reviews, wait a few hours, then fish out the little magnetic piece (I don't know how, it's on the bottom of the beaker) and bring your beaker to your stove and then heat it and then wait for it to cool, you go girl! But if you want to pour some water and plug in something smaller than a Bluetooth speaker, having it right on your night table and take care of your child for 15 minutes, at which time you have your fresh silver... Well, you get my point. Lastly, every time we pull out the jar, we hold it up to light and it has the most beautiful quality. Almost a luminescence from the tiny bubbles of dispersment. It's very pleasing. Review: Don't waste your money - I have never regretted a purchase this bad before. I have owned this unit for 5 months now and I am buying the Silver lungs generator to replace it. I don't know where to start with this. My first impression was that someone made this with a trip to home depot and $20 bucks. It leaked from day one and one of the 9 volt batteries that were sealed in the cap where almost dead. Yes, I said sealed in the cap, with glue! The ionic silver made from this machine is so weak it is practically useless. It failed the milk test. I also gave some to a friend for her daughter for her acne to spray on her face. She was using a 10 ppm spray from Silver Wings and having great results. When she ran out, I gave her some of the stuff I made with this. She might as well have been spraying distilled water on her face. All of her acne started coming back immediately. According to Silver lungs these guys have no idea of what they are talking about and the size of ion particles is more like .23nm not 10 nm. NO PARTCILES are created whatsoever in a colloidal silver generator. ONLY (ions) are dissolved from the electrodes. So what is this 10nm thing all about? TEM analysis creates particles that weren't originally there after you evaporate the water so it is not the correct way to test for particle size. This product claims 10 ppm after 35 minutes. What they don't tell you is that to them, 4 ppm is 10 ppm and they have an equation they use to justify it. Every other generator on the market uses a 10 ppm reading on TDS meters. The standard that people have been using and is effective is 10 ppm on a TDS meter. Even if that is really more than 10 ppm when converted, it is the measurement everyone uses and compares to. I have tried to make 10 ppm with a TDS meter on this unit and it took me over a hour. It was a pain because I had to clean the silver 4 times. The quality was poor with debris in the water. This is a very poorly made product. Even the silver they give you is cut in a way that the ends of the wires have sharp edges that promote silver oxidation build up. The Silver lungs generator has 7 guage silver rods that are smooth all over and polished. I have an idea. Instead of posting tests showing the size of your particles, why not test your solution to see if it really works? P.S. the company itself has downvoted my review so that it had less effect on the overall score. How else can my review get downvoted within an hour of posting.
