Box is watertight, strongly magnetic, and comes with alternate self adhesive plate if you don't have a secure magnetic outdoor location. It's also completely watertight; unlike any other key hiders I've had. I love that there's a protective cover that slides over the lock that not only keeps out grime, but further makes it a mystery to open for anyone who should not have access to it. Very sturdy and well made.

Our box was used multiple times a day and held up nicely. Even after a few unnecessary drops there is a chip to the magnet, but not the body of the casing at all. I also love the sliding door to keep the numbers discreetly hidden. My only complaint is that if you accidentally reset the code on the wrong numbers it’s nearly impossible to get back into. It’s not the worst con because a backup unlocking mechanism means increased odds of accessing the key without the code.

**Q: I thought I followed the directions to set the code for this but now I can't open it,  Any suggestions?**
A: I also followed the instructions to set a new combination but after scrambling the combination and then going to the reset numbers, the lock wouldn't open. The "reset" wheel will not rotate now from its original position when bought.

**Q: With the reset button on the outside and obvious, can anyone just reset the combination on this?**
A: Once Set, You'll need the right combination to reset the lock.

**Q: Is it metal**
A: No it is not metal. It is hard plastic

**Q: What material is it made of?**
A: Plastic, with interior foam, and a magnetic backing.  Regardless, this is a horrible product and I've had to return two of them.  The interior foam creates a small space for one key and, although it says it is removable, good luck trying to get it out.  The combination spinners are impossible to use and the whole mechanism keeps freezing up (and I live in a hot, dry climate).

I LOVED the fact that it has a lock (that was easy to set up); so even if someone were to find it, the key is still safe. ### ⭐ Disappointing

This looks like a low cost and effective means of securely hiding a key; unfortunately, this did not fulfill its purpose. It's difficult to reset the locking code to one of your choosing; the interior is lined in foam, which seems like a good idea until you can't get the key out of the foam...and my fingers aren't big, I can't imagine someone with large fingers being able to use this. Yes, they say you can remove the foam, but it's glued in. Lastly, if you are able to overcome the above issues, the lid may become stuck in the open position and will not close. Ever. If you are persistent and try to troubleshoot this issue by struggling to set and rest the pass code over and over you will be rewarded with frustration and resignation that this is a lost cause and begin the return process.
