My girlfriend and I do some amateur entertainment shows, and used this as part of two skits, and it was great! It was east to perform, and the crowd was delighted, and completely mystified how we could turn a light bulb on without any electrical connection whatsoever. I had her blow it a kiss while furtively flipping the small switch. Candidly, I can't figure out myself how the device works, but it does, every time.

I read the previous reviews, but was hoping for better. Nope, complete garbage! Doesn’t light up and had a terrible, old, wet cardboard smell. The smell was so bad, we had to seal it in a bad to keep it from smelling up the entire room until we could return it.

I bought this for an Uncle Fester costume, and I’m pleased with how it is. It CAN come apart easily. I put all the parts and the assembly in the photos as well as the operation. The light can stutter but a little shake will put the batteries back in order. Make sure the positive side is facing the BOTTOM OF THE LIGHT BULB. As shown here. In order for the light to come on you NEED to hold the button down — it’s not a push on/off button. For Uncle Fester usage this requires you to hold it between your teeth and push the button with your tongue. As shown in the picture. Feel free to shoot me any questions!

The button worked fine for me and my son-in-law but when my 5-year grandson got hold of it he took it apart and shorted one of the batteries first (turning it the wrong way ) so it got hot and then proceeded to lose one of the batteries. ( swallowed.? ) I had one before that worked on the principle of a short in the battery system that turned it on by crossing the breach between the bottom and the side. (like in your mouth or hand. ) the button is NOT the best choice for this trick bulb I think. The base was also loose so one could easily take it apart. maybe spot some rubber glue to hold it in place.? The washer in it was wobbly.

This is a fun thing to do! We were watching old Adams Family reruns the other day, and we got to thinking how fun it would be now for Halloween or any season really for a party. So we went surfing and naturally Amazon had it. So we bought one and it is darling, and can't wait for the perfect time to use it. Enjoy them if you dare. :-) Safe and sane and easy to use.

Bought a couple Halloweens ago, to go as Fester from Addams Family. Didn't work when received, though it had fresh batteries provided, and good instructions to set up and operate. I took it apart a bit, and fond a couple loose connections, and once fixed, this worked well. Never did use it for the costume. I entertain the grandkids with "magic" now. Delivered in a timely manner from the Seller.

Awful! Didn’t realize it was being shipped from India! Box inside of packaging looks like it was 20 years old! Box bent and ripped. Item inside fell apart and when I managed to put it together with the batteries, it still didn’t work. What a cheap piece of garbage! Don’t buy from this seller!
