Review: Bonfire pit exceeds expectations! - I’ve been scouring through fire pits and reading reviews for months. Sharing the love for this pit so it helps someone else bite the bullet like I finally did - I highly recommend this fire pit. First of all, the bowl is well-made and deep. Not flimsy, not even the grate-netting around it. The size is perfect of us and our little backyard. We didn’t want teeny-tiny fire pit - needed something that would just fit normal-sized logs…and several at once - which this does! But at the same time, it’s not massive either. Just right. It did take some time to put together, but it wasn’t rocket science. The instructions were easy to follow and I had no problems getting all the screws, nuts and bolts in place in 30-45min. No negative in my opinion - everything I did to put it together only helped me make sure it was sturdy and well made. One thing I will say - the ring around the top doesn’t necessarily fit perfectly- two of the pieces are about a half-inch apart. Because this does not affect the actual fire pit, I don’t mind. I’m probably the only one who even notices it. Regardless of the fact that it’s not a perfect circle, it still acts as a great shelf to rest our fire sticks after we’re done cooking. We haven’t used the grill part yet, but we will! It’s made of the same material as the bowl - no question that it’s sturdy. I appreciate that it’s removable so we can have it on when cooking and take it off when not. We also bought the Bali cover for when we’re not using it which fits perfectly. (Not pictured). Glad to help if possible. Since one can’t put cover over smoldering pit at the end of evening, I was prepared to get local shop to make to flat, lightweight metal disc with a handle. For it’s function the disc will never be warm or hot. The handle is used to move it. Also, small metal disc for cooking rack as well. Think fireside pancakes. Otherwise, used regularly. Still 6 stars. **Q: Does the arm come off ( the one holding the grill) so you can cover it?** A: It swings inward, covering is easy **Q: Why does some of the answers say the fire bowl is 30 inches yet you answer the same questuon with 24 inches.
