I purchased this Xbox Game Drive 1TB SSD for extra storage for my Series S to install non enhanced games, it is small, compact, lightweight and it is extremely fast being a SSD, as as added bonus it comes with 2 months Game Pass Ultimate which is absolutely brilliant! Highly recommended for all Series X/S owners as it is a cheaper alternative to buying the Seagate Expansion Card!

Returned after less that 3 weeks started to disconnect from the Xbox, bought high quality, high speed USB-3 cables same issue. Tried different USB ports on the Xbox same issue tries a standard external drive No problem. Returning and ordered a Samsung T5 SSD

I had an existing 2TB SATA external drive for loading games like The Division 2, GTA V, etc. Load times in The Division 2 were slow, as was 'fast' travelling between sites in the game. After hooking up this 1TB SSD, my fast travvel times have shrunk to less than 10 seconds, instead of the 30-40 I was seeing before. The game feels much snappier and I no longer dread certain actions as a result of having the SSD. I would recommend this drive to anyone with an Xbox One X or earlier console.

So this does make games load faster but the price may keep most away. My only other gripe is that it's small enough that anyone can slip this in there pockets and you'd never know it. But it is a great device. Just make sure you tuck it away if you can.

With this drive games load at least 25-30% faster. If this doesn't sound like much consider the XBONE load times on a lot of games are two to three minutes, This drive alone can shave an entire minute off load times! The only downside is it's only 1TB but this is pretty typical for SSD drives. The only reason you shouldn't get this drive is if you're only concerned about space and have hundreds of games and want a lot of them always installed. This shouldn't matter because you can always reinstall games that you remove. Bottom line if you have an Xbox One (Original, S, or X) this drive will improve your actual gaming experience.

I've had this for sometime now and it's working really well, I tried this on more mmo rpg games because I know they have alot of loading and popping in them, my load times went down alot as I mean cut in half if not more and when I go in a game like MW I'm the one loaded in waiting for others to get in, a my must buy for your Xbox.
