The toothbrushes actually seem pretty effective and powerful given their price. They are the perfect size for my 4 and 6 year olds and the kids seem to like them. The issue we are having is that after not even a week of use, our pink toothbrush is already having issues working. When on, the brush seems to fade in and out of power and sometimes stops working altogether. We are still within the time frame to return the brushes but I don't want to have to send back my son's working toothbrush and deal with the disappointment or inconvenience of going without for a day or two and having to find time to get to the post office to return a toothbrush, of all things! I knew it was a risk to make this purchase but I was surprised by the quality and how well the toothbrushes get the job done. They're a great, inexpensive alternative to buying my kids a sonicare, waterpik, or oral-b electric toothbrush and they seem to work a lot better than the AA battery crest and oral-b kids brushes. I just wish these toothbrushes were a little more reliable and I'm disappointed that after less than a week, we are already having operating issues with one of them. If you're up to taking chances and like a risk, I would recommend trying these out.
