The sequel to the first one! (That’s just lazy writing) But wait…there’s more! If your second time wasn’t enough, your second , second time will blow you away. The Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut* gives you even more of everyone’s favorite red-spandexed superhero now with 15 minutes of brand-new action and jokes lovingly inserted throughout. That’s a whole lotta D in a surprisingly small package! 4K Bonus Features Blu-ray Bonus Features Review: Great Movie - "Deadpool 2" delivers exactly what fans loved about the first film—hilarious irreverence, over-the-top action, and a surprising amount of heart. Ryan Reynolds is in peak form as the titular anti-hero, blending razor-sharp wit with genuine emotional moments. The sequel ups the ante with a more expansive story, introducing memorable new characters like Josh Brolin’s gruff and time-traveling Cable, and Zazie Beetz’s incredibly lucky Domino, who steals every scene she’s in. The humor is relentless, with meta-references, fourth-wall breaks, and absurd gags that range from genius to gloriously juvenile. However, the film doesn’t shy away from emotional beats, exploring themes of family, redemption, and loss in ways that feel surprisingly impactful amidst all the chaos. The action sequences are spectacular and creatively choreographed, though some might find the pacing uneven as it juggles its comedic and emotional tones. The supporting cast, including the expanded X-Force team, adds fresh energy, even if not everyone gets their moment to shine (looking at you, Peter). Overall, "Deadpool 2" is a wildly entertaining ride that stays true to its irreverent roots while adding just enough depth to keep it fresh. If you loved the first movie, this sequel is a must-watch. Hilarious, Action-Packed, and Surprisingly Heartfelt
Deadpool 2 was everything I hoped for and more. The humor is nonstop—sarcastic, over-the-top, and perfectly in line with Deadpool’s wild personality. The action scenes are fast, creative, and super entertaining from start to finish. What surprised me most was the emotional depth. Between all the jokes and chaos, the movie actually has a strong storyline about family, teamwork, and redemption. The new characters add so much personality, and the chemistry within the X-Force team makes it even more fun to watch.

Deadpool 2 take from a guy that isn't/wasn't into comic books
The emergence of the Marvel juggernaut caused me to have an interesting observation - a shockingly high percentage of people in my life seem to have an interest in Marvel stuff. Be it comic books or TV shows, there's apparently been this large following for years that's getting drawn out into the light by way of the blockbuster movie. Well, I'm not in that crowd, so the movies have always been more of an oddity for me. A couple of the X-Men movies were ok. The Avengers and Iron Man were fine, too. Deadpool was the first movie where I felt that the sensibilities of the movie were well aligned with my own. If you're reading this you are already familiar with the Deadpool character. The first movie was funny - sophmoric, of course, but with flashes of more textured humor. I wouldn't quite say there's something for everyone, but I think it's pretty accessible to most. I appreciated the references and call-backs to absurdities of the Marvel universe. I enjoyed the first movie. The only real question for people like me: "If I liked the first movie, will I like this one?" After hearing about some of the production difficulties in the making of Deadpool 2 (change in directors, I think), I figured that the movie may be in trouble. When the movie came out, it firmly fell into the category of "I'll see it when it's streaming", despite friends and coworkers telling me that it was entertaining. You see, as Marvel fans, they were not to be trusted. Things I liked: 1.) this movie wasn't a substantial departure from the first effort, in style or substance. The story is not special in any way, but the dialogue remains clever enough to hold interest. Though, if you are put off by double entendres, this is not the movie for you 2.) Deadpool 2 uses secondary characters in a way that was missing in the first movie. Sure, it's a title role movie, but supporting actors can bring a lot to the table. To be clear, the acting is just fine... there will be no end-of-year awards, but it's good for the genre. Ryan Reynolds did a good job, and it's hard to imagine who (and how) someone would act the part better. After that, Zazie Beetz is a scene stealer... she's excellent in Atlanta, and she's a bright spot in this movie. Morena Baccarin is fun to look at, and helps to add a little depth to the proceedings. Josh Brolin surprises as Cable, and Julian Dennison contributes a different type of energy. 3.) visually the movie does some interesting things, though mostly in CGI (for obvious reasons) What I didn't like: 1.) it's only the second movie, and it's already REALLY formulaic. The saving grace is that the cast made this distinctive enough to have the movie stand on its own 2.) the pacing isn't great. All of the criticisms are subjective, of course, but I didn't think the time budget was allocated wisely across the various "acts" of the movie. 3.) it's possible that this is just an artifact of Deadpool being the Marvel character for the casual viewer, but it doesn't feel like they're building this part of the franchise toward anything. It's not that it's really a problem, per se, but it is difficult to see how they will be able to sustain viewer interest in subsequent movies. Wow. I didn't mean to write all of that. In my opinion, if you liked the first movie, you will probably like the second one too. If you are looking for an excuse to see more of Zazie Beetz, then this is worth watching.

Deadpool 2 - Defying History
Did Domino break the fourth wall, strike lucky, and make this sequel better than its original? I think so! Deadpool 2 is way better than I could have anticipated. I really liked the first Deadpool. It was exactly what we had expected it to be all of these years. We knew Ryan Reynolds was Deadpool the instant we all became fans of him. We knew the film was going to be a hard bargain for an R-rating, but when it came we showed them it was the way. It did do everything it did at a 11 out of 10, as it should, and it worked for me mostly other than the crudeness of the humor. I like anything that's funny, but like with most comedy, going for it every time can become repetitive or cross a line. Deadpool 2 does not have the same pitfalls of the first film, and I think it does a lot of things better. Most of the new elements, including the new characters, really help this sequel be just as good if not better than the first. The introduction of X-Force was awesome and their scene together was perfect for Deadpool. I loved seeing some of the heroes on screen for the first time, but Domino completely steals the show. Her banter with Deadpool is a perfect example of how Deadpool could really make a Marvel team-up the perfect blockbuster. Domino's powers enable her to take over when she's on screen, and likewise to Cable who is played by now Marvel God, Josh Brolin. Cable really comes into the film by the end, and his arc makes it just as much his movie as Deadpool's, or Domino's for that matter. In watching the special features and commentary, a good point is made about making an otherwise crummy guy in Deadpool, the hero to root for. They do a really good job of making this movie entertaining, but also be a good movie with logical characters who are fun to root for and driven by plot. This 4K edition was glorious and I'd highly recommend buying the film in this format. The details were really clear and the film is really colorful in costumes so it really sets off the hero scenes. There are so many good references in the film, and easter eggs. Plenty of new and old Marvel characters to fill the universe around Deadpool and make it feel lived in so he can play off of it. The Super Duper Cut was also worth watching as it includes a lot of the alternate lines and a few of the deleted scenes mentioned in the commentary, all of which are really funny. This edition of the film includes 4 discs, 2 4K and 2 Blu-ray, one of each version of the film and one of those including special features & commentary. The whole edition is worth diving into and like Deadpool says, I think this movie is a family movie in every way that he means it. This also includes a digital copy, case was in great condition with slipcover. Also had a sticker that I left on the case due to the fitting look, which is rare.

Amazing film
Deadpool is back with the awesome Deadpool 2! After an epic first film, this movie had alot of hype to live up to and it does it in style. The shocking start will put viewers on the edge of their seats while still having us laugh on the build up to it and the opening titles, the bond esque style and awesome new celine dion song written for the movie not only give it the impression that this movie will have reference and parody galore but also that its going to be awesome. For reasons I will not spoil in this review, the film follows Deadpool trying to save a mutant child who has fire creating powers from being killed by the terminator type character from the future, Cable. To stop Cable, Wade Wilson creates a team of powered people called X Force, introducing likely to be new permanent character Domino, a lady who gets luck all the time, this creates cool new ideas that work perfectly and are very entertaining. Cable and Deadpool decide to team up when Deadpool understands his motives but Deadpool is torn in the descion he needs make in regards to saving the child and helping Cable. The film has tonnes of references to other films and more and has lots of self depreciating humour to the film itself and its actors. Its humour is classic Ryan Reynolds humour. From Baby Legs to calling Cable Thanos (Cables actor is Josh Brolin, the same guy who plays Thanos in the marvel movies) to Deadpool killing Ryan Reynolds while he looks at the Green Lantern script (a film featuring the actor that is famously terrible), The jokes come thick and fast but are wonderfully wovern into the other genres the film uses, its romance, action and emotional scenes. Deadpool 2 has a story that is bigger and better than the original, it may not be quite as funny as the first, but its still absolutely hilarious and is another triumph, it equals the quality of the first, Deadpool 2 is an amazing, hilarious, emotional, beautiful and epic film.
