## Description

Mopar 68260443AA NOZZLE WINDSHIELD WASHER

Review: Installed and worked easy. A guide to replacing included in my Review - I went online and found a description of how to replace these. If you have a Jeep Grand Cherokee which has the washer pipes hidden under the soundproof felt pad under the hood, I definitely recommend you search on desertcart and also buy the "Hood Insulation Retainers 50pcs with Fastener Remover - for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram - Replace OEM 4878883AA LH LHS Nylon Clip". On some models of Jeep the washer line is visible but on the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee it is not. I didn't need to remove the whole pad and all clips. I removed 4 on the driver side and it gave more than adequate access to the washer nozzle that was broken. As an FYI, when the old hood clips pop out with the tool in the Nylon Clip package, they spring out fast and can easily drop into the engine compartment. They're NOT reusable but you don't want things in the engine just loose. Depending on where it falls, it could end up cutting a belt for example if it got stuck. Getting the old washer nozzle out was a breeze.. I was trying to compress the clips either end with a pair of grips to pop the nozzle out but on a 17 year old Jeep the original nozzle was now so brittle it literally exploded into many pieces soon as the grips touched it. No loss, it was going to be tossed into the trash anyway... I cleaned up the many small fragments easy enough. The old washer nozzle has a known tendency to fracture at the nozzle body, just where the pipe sticks out. So the washer hose has a small amount of plastic in it which has to be removed in order to reuse and refit the hose onto the new nozzle. BTW, the new nozzle popped into the hole from the outside of the hood really easy with a solid "click" and it doesn't rotate or move once installed. I didn't check to see if you could install it the wrong way (pointing away from the windshield) as I was careful to position it correctly first time. To clean out the broken plastic I just used a pair of pliers to gently squeeze the end of the rubber pipe so the plastic inside all fractured and then used a small screwdriver to scrape out the remnants and make sure there was no more debris inside. You can't pull the plastic pipe out of the hose... there's nothing to grip. Break it apart is the simplest and easiest solution. Also as a hint, you can operate the washer at this point just for a second to let the water squirt out and clear out any debris but just a second... else you'll be dripping wet everywhere. If you have a leak from the old hose to the new nozzle (I didn't it sealed just fine) you can either purchase a 6mm spring clip to help seal it or replace that section of hose. Clips and hose are available on desertcart or I'm sure your local auto or even hardware store may have the parts. I had these in preparation just in case although I didn't need them. They're also very inexpensive so no big deal there. As for the whole job. Seriously... it took less than 10 minutes to replace the driver side. If Mopar didn't charge so much for a small piece of plastic, I'd have bought 2 and replaced both. However I cannot stress this enough... I read many many reviews and watched YouTube videos which all recommended buy the Mopar!!!... The $5 nozzles generally available are all in one piece and will break the same way sometimes within a month or so. The new Mopar nozzles are redesigned and have a green molded pipe attached to a black plastic nozzle body. Seems these solve the commonly known breakage problem that occurs. So as expensive as this little piece of plastic may seem, it's the recommended long term fix. 1. Time to replace 10 mins 2. Additional things you might need (easily available on desertcart or local store) a. Replacement hood pad clips (old removed ones will not work, one time time use only) b. Potentially you might need to replace a section of hose or need a steel spring clip. 3. Tools needed. a. Pair of pliers to break the tube stuck in the hose that has broken off b. Pair of grips to compress the clips on the old nozzle (or if old, it may just break apart anyway) c. Small screwdriver to ensure the hose is free of debris from the tube that was stuck inside. d. Tool to remove the hood felt clips (Comes with new clips). Proper tool is far better than trying to use a screwdriver 4. Level of expertise to do the repair is basic. This is an expensive Garage repair job due to Labor Charges but is a very simple task for the average layman... IF you prepare and have the right tools and clips in advance.
Review: Perfect spray pattern - These are the correct OEM part and the spray pattern is perfect.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect spray pattern
*by M***E on January 2, 2026*

These are the correct OEM part and the spray pattern is perfect.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Forget the Cheap Nozzles - This is the Part you Need
*by A***E on February 20, 2025*

This OEM nozzle works perfectly on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After purchasing a cheap alternate, I was sorely disappointed. I returned the cheap stuff and bought this one instead. This OEM version is identical to what was already installed on my Jeep. Yes, it's a little pricey, but the spray pattern is perfect. It's super easy to install. It took me like 5 minutes.
