Review: Retrofitted to a 2002 tundra - Toyota and their dumb 2-bolt sensors. I had this on a 2002 tundra where the old sensor needed replaced and the nuts/studs were rusted in place. Thinking outside the box, I bought this one with the same plug and a band clamp with o2 bung and installed all this beside the old downstream sensor through a hole I drilled in the pipe. Now it has both the old and new sensors next to each other but no more check engine light. Looks weird but it worked well. Ecm reads this one like a new original.
Review: Worked great for 2007 FJ Cruiser Bank 1 sensor 2 - 07 FJ Cruiser Bank 1 sensor 2 check engine light code p0038 and p0137 fixed with this Denso sensor. Fit perfectly. I had tried one of the $25-ish sensors that plugged right in and seemed high quality, but after clearing the codes, the CEL came right back on. Decided to buy the Denso since the factory Toyota one I took out had a Denso logo, cleared the codes, and they have stayed off. Worth the extra $20 for sure!!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this item work for 2007 Toyota solora 6 cylinders?**
A: The Toyota Solara has 2 downstream o2 sensors (and 2 upstream Air Fuel Ratio Sensors). This part ( 234-4261) will fit the front downstream application. The rear downstream sensor is part# 234-4064. You first have to make sure which sensor is bad. Then, If you go to Denso auto parts.com, you can see all the applications for your vehicle before purchasing

**Q: Is this the right sensor for Bank 2 Sensor 1 Installation? I think that is front driver side?
Thank You**
A: This part is for either Bank 1 Sensor 2 or Bank 2 Sensor 2 (the sensor after the catalytic converter). Sensor 1 is the sensor that adjusts the air/fuel mix. It is before the catalytic converter and will likely be a different sensor type. Best to double check first.

**Q: Will this fit my toyota tacoma'06 pre runner 4l. engine?**
A: I installed on a 2002 4runner. Not sure if it will fit your vehicle.

**Q: I own a 2002 4Runner with a sensor that needs the flange; it cannot be separated. Does this come with the flange?**
A: I have a 2002 4-runner,it has two oxygen sensors, the one here and also Denso #234-9002 shows it fits this vehicle and it has the flange.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy install
*by D***1 on November 6, 2016*

After reading all the reviews and comments, this was the easiest fix on my vehicle ever! The check engine and traction control lights came on and I had already replaced the fuel cap a few years ago so it couldn't be the cap. I took my car to my local auto parts and the check engine code showed a bad O2 sensor. The clerk told me they had in stock and it was going to be $180.00. However after a few minute he told me nope this was a special order, and it was going to take 2 days. They have done this to me in the past so I went home and found the part on Amazon for $96.00 (I think they order online and resell at a 100% mark up). They also told me the wrong part, the part for $180.00 was for an fuel/air sensor, which is totally different from O2 sensor. Physical differences: O2 sensor attach directly to exhaust pipe with built in threads, fuel/air sensor has 2 flanges for 2 bolts. Installation only took me 5 min, and here are the steps I used: 1. Parked my car so that the middle of the vehicle is where your drive way and the street meet. Usually there's a dip there like at my house, this gave me an extra 3-4" to crawl underneath the vehicle. 2. Remove the gray plug using a flat screwdriver. Insert the flat head at the top of the plug and pull, it should come off easy. 3. Spray some WD40 or liquid wrench on the nut part of the sensor, and let sit a few min. 4. Remove sensor using a crescent wrench 5. Install new part and tighten with wrench, replug the plug and you are done! I started the engine and no check engine light or traction control lights! A few reviews said it takes a while for the lights to go off so I might have gotten luck. I hope this helps someone.
