All proper prep and prime steps need to be taken- also- of course.

**Q: Shelf life?**
A: it's sort of an oily base like WD-40 etc I bet it's good for decades maybe centuries - I store lots of containers of all sizes of this product in tin storage buildings (effectovely ovens lol) in Arizona and have never had any issues
