Review: Great product! - I have purchased many of these for student use and they work great! I chose this pin vise over other models because the chuck size is bigger and will take 1/4" bits. I purchased some screw driver bits to add to the tool and everything stores nicely in the handle. The chuck key is a great feature, I currently have an injury that affects my grip strength and I was able to get bits in tightly. The only con I see is the handle which is made of plastic and seams a little cheap. That said, I purchased the first one a couple months ago and it has held up fine. Overall this is a great product and I think it is well worth the price!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What's the largest drill bit it can take? - like 5, 6, 7 mm ? Something in-between ?**
A: It is a 1/4 inch chuck, so like all chucks I've ever used, it will go a bit bigger.  7mm is 0.275 inches and therefore likely to still fit. I don't have a 7mm drill bit so I can't test it. This is a great tool for making sure one doesn't drill to far. I use mine in plastic to make machine screws fit flush with the plastic mostly.

**Q: Can it be used on egg shells without cracking the shell?**
A: I have not tried it but I would think it would work. Just take it slow.

**Q: Will this work on lava beads**
A: The pin vise set is ideal for drilling wood, resin, jewelry, walnut, amber, beeswax, olive nut, beads, PVC, acrylic and plastic, horn, olive, etc;not suitable for hard materials like stone, metal, glass,etc.
