I already owned a similar pot I purchased some years ago for much more money. This pot is just as high quality as the more costly ones. It works well for me in my crafting projects. The plastic handle makes it easy to use while the wax in it melts as it does not burn my hand while also allowing me to control the pot. It is a good size for melting 2 to 3 pounds of wax. The outside bottom does discolor, but it doesn't matter because it doesn't affect the quality of the liquid wax.
