I had a couple of 150 ft cables of 12 gauge wires inside - each with its own color. I needed the individual wires for projects. This allowed me to remove the outer plastic coating really fast. I tried doing it with one of the knives that use the break off tip blades. That sucked and took a long time to do a short piece of cable due to how hard and think the coating was. This allowed me to do in an hour what would have taken me several days with the knife.

Neat little tool that's saved my hands and my time. Strips cable like a champ, and relatively straightforward to use. Worked especially great on coiled light cables and lift gate charging cables.

Crap Instructions and keeps falling apart. Not usable don't waste your money

Great value compared to tools that can cost hundreds. Would be really great if there was a way to fasten it into position with more pressure. When you clamp it down it's a struggle to keep it tight enough while tightening. Due to sensitive adjustments it can be a pain to get tight while adjusted perfectly.
