A bit expensive, but no nasty chemicals. I sprayed Day 1, Day 3 and Day 5. I sprayed as much on the underside of the leaves as possible, and surprisingly didn't need to use much (about an eighth of the bottle over the course). My ficus is approximately 3ft tall and the spider mite were gone after the 2nd application, but did a third just in case. I think this treatment is effective after it has dried too. I sprayed it in a room with a painted floor, so put a sheet on the floor first; would suggest you protect any surfaces/furnishings. To me, this was well worth the expense. I wish I'd had it when all my orchids got infected with mealybugs because nothing I used would get rid of them, but I think this would have worked. The smell is not offensive - to me, smelled a bit like mosquito deterrent spray. Review: Good but Don't use too much! - Bought it to get rid of aphids infestation on indoor plants. After first use it seemed to "freeze" the bugs where they were on the leaves. After second use I started seeing less of the bugs on my plants After third use they were 99% gone. Do not make the mistake to spray on both sides of the leaves because they will shrivel up and die within a few hours. The plant had no issues with the application. It's a fine mist that easy to spray and smells nice. However the very next day I got an Aphid infestation, which just got worse over a couple more days - this clearly does not handle Aphids.
