In any case the batteries are standard flying saucer types (dunno the actual name and I’m not at home so I can’t check for ya) but they shouldn’t cost more than a few bucks I gather. They’re the ones used today with many remote control devices I believe. Anyhow sorry I couldn’t answer yer question directly but hope that this helped somehow in shedding some light on the issue! You can get em at any hardware store I’m sure and replace it once it runs out. In any case it doesn’t charge, but just FYI ... i have two that I have been using on a daily basis for more than a year now, and have not yet needed to replace either one.
