Well Made High End Faucet
I purchased the Chrome K7 Medium through Amazon Warehouse on Prime Day when there was 20% off. It was described as used with less than 5% cosmetic damage. What I received was obviously new in like new condition for $240. For those on a budget I would recommend checking the warehouse deals. If you're not happy with the condition you can return it for free. The two one way check valves or as others have referred to them as pressure reducers are easy to remove. They will reduce flow somewhat since they have a smaller hole for the water to travel through. I'm on a catchment system with pump and pressure tank. My water pressure varies between 30 psi and 50 psi depending how much I've drawn off from the pressure tank. I had removed both "restrictors" but ended up reinstalling them since the volume of water without them was causing too much splashing in the sink. I suspect those that have issues with flow were having debris getting caught in the "restrictors" due to not flushing out the water supply lines before making the connections to the faucet. For those that removed the "restrictors" and still had flow issues, I suspect the problem is debris in the cartridge or possibly the water supply lines. Or the screen on the nozzle that can be accessed with the special supplied tool. There are no other places for the flow to be reduced, especially down to a trickle. These are easy to check using the correct Allen wrench and small crescent wrench. For those that have experienced leaking, I suspect it's the fitting that is under the base of the spring beneath the plastic fitting the spring rides on. My was hand tight and would loosen up when swiveling the faucet. Easy to tighten with a small crescent wrench to avoid loosening. If the supply lines on the faucet are not long enough to reach the water supply valves under the sink, both Lowes and Home Depot (Amazon too, I'm sure) carry braided nylon or stainless lines with 3/8" male commpression to 3/8" female with washer. Assuming you valve is 3/8", these will extend the length of water lines on the faucet. By removing the nut and compression ring from braided line, it will make a watertight seal to the faucet supply line. The faucet cannot be mounted with handle on front or left side due the arc the faucet swivels through. If you don't have enough clearance for the lever to rotate back, you could mount it a bit rotated clockwise but you will lose some of the swivel to the right and now it will swivel pass the sink basin on the left to above the counter. In this case, I'd probably go with a different faucet. The nozzle is metal, not plastic. You have choice of spray or stream. When in spray mode if you reduce volume or turn off faucet, it reverts back to stream (like most faucets). I like that this style faucet has no pull out weighted or sprung hose to get caught up under the sink. Or additional fitting for pullout that can be the cause of unseen water leaks. Everything is above the sink. This is an extremely well made high quality faucet that will last a long time. I highly recommend this faucet if you like this style. Just make sure water lines are flushed before connecting and to check the above areas for debris and tightness before forming a bad opinion.

Avoid at all costs
It looks great, it's solid and has a quality feel and finish. Unfortunately it's only as good as it's weakest link and at this point I've had to replace the wand 2 times in the time since I've installed it. Over time the wand eventually stops switching between spray modes, and there is nothing that you can do aside from buying an entire replacement wand. I've seen these cost as much as $95 depending on when and where you buy from. This is unacceptable.

Ridiculous but cool!
This fixture is massive, but it works really well. Like any Grohe product, the hose moves easily and the water comes out and changes settings smoothly. The only thing I would change would be to add an adjustment so that the cross bar could be raised slightly. If you have an oversized or single sink, this is not an issue, but if you have a shallow double sink, there may be a problem with clearance. Installation was very easy. It is very attractive and is a focal point in the kitchen. To answer two guest questions that I had: The water turns on as soon as you turn on the faucet. The button on the handle does not control water flow, it only switches the flow from stream to spray. It automatically reverts to stream if you turn it off (good feature). The faucet rises 26 3/4" from the sink or countertop.

Be sure to get the DCO.
This is a new design in kitchen faucets. It is meant to look like a professional faucet but not to be too overwhelming. Note that Grohe has just come out with a version of this that is 5" shorter. These come in two finishes, chrome and "SuperSteal" which is like stainless or brushed nickel. "SuperSteal" is a color name and does not indicate anything about what the faucet is made of. Be sure to get the "DCO" version and not the "DCE". The "DCE" has restricted wafer flow, which I think is a stupid idea. The handle on the DCO is very precise and it is easy to adjust the wafer flow if you want to save water. Out of all the faucets of this design, we like the Grohe design the best. Hans Grohe (a different company from Grohe) and Elkay also have a nice one. After that, they begin to look cheap. Like most kitchen faucets (even fairly high end ones) the head is made of plastic. However, the stainless steel finish makes it look and feel like the heard is real metal. Only time will tell how durable the finish is and how long it takes before you wear it down and the plastic starts showing. What I don't like is that the spring and hose are chrome. I was hoping to get something that looked like stainless steel or brushed nickel throughout. In the pictures of the faucet, they make it look like the spring and hose are not chrome, but they are. Since they are chrome, and mirror like, they do pick up the stainless steel look if you look at them at the right angle. But, it most light and most angles, they look chrome. The button on the head will change the flow from a regular stream to a shower. The shower pattern is fairly tight and does not spread out like our older faucets did. You can switch from stream to shower with the water running (some other brands will only switch back to stream when you turn the water off). Once the water is turned, it always goes back to stream. I like the Elkay faucet in that the switch on the head was three way, stream, shower or off. The only one nicer than this is from Waterstone. They are pretty wild looking and cost twice as much. However, the head on those are solid metal.

Piece of Art
I was using the Grohe K4 pull-out spray kitchen sink faucet which was nice and added some design to the kitchen. Always wanted a commercial type pull-down spray faucet and finally pulled the trigger on this Grohe K7. Wow! what a difference in form and function. The one thing I didn't like with the pull-out spray was the sound of the metal hose sliding in and out of the faucet body and sometimes it wouldn't retract as easily and felt "stiff" when trying to clean the walls of the sink. With the Grohe K7 pull-down there is no sound, the height/angle at which this is designed makes it much easier to spray down the walls of the sink when cleaning up, it swivels nicely and effortlessly and it's really, really cool to look at. Pulling down the spray seems more natural/flowing than pulling out and towards you as with the pull-out spray. I thought the K4 had nice form but this adds a certain wow! to a kitchen. Great price here on Amazon although I've been seeing the price fluctuate like waves on the ocean... FYI: Pull-out spray = fixed faucet with straight spout (you need to "pull-out" the spray as with the K4). Pull-down = faucet with downward pointing spout (you need to "pull-down" the spray as with this K7).

I love this fixture
I love this fixture. Have not seen a better piece for the kitchen. The day the moen broke I went out looking for a new faucet. Showrooms had awful selections. Overall really bad experience because I had no idea that stores didn't actually stock high-dollar faucets. I was under the impression that if they had it in their display it was available for sale that day. So basically I was wrong and I turned to Amazon. I first ordered one that I thought would work but when it came to my door it was too tall and I just didn't really like the quality too much. So I decided to pay twice the price and go with this Grohe. One thing I've seen people say is that it swivels 360 mine only does the oneighty. The other point I'd like to mention is it there's a lot of talk about the water flow and it can be fixed by removing the regulator inside of the handle. I don't think that this is true I think that when you read the instructions you can see that there is an actual adjustment if you remove the on-off handle. Once you remove that you can tweak the settings and how much water flow you get through the faucet. Of course I haven't tried out the adjustment yet but I'm thinking about it because I could use just a little bit more water pressure. If you remove the regulator you will experience excessive dripping Once you turn the water off. Either way this is a great faucet awesome quality and altogether great purchase fully satisfied.

Results of the test of time
I paid lot of money for this thing eight years ago, but in the end it proved to have had little value. I admit I have hard water, but I have other faucets the are still operating just fine after 30-years of use. But this kitchen faucet began to fail after about seven years. At first it was leaks where the faucet head connects to the braided hose. With normal use the head would begin to unscrew itself and water would leak past the o-ring seal; I was forced to re-tightening the thing daily. Then there was another leak that I could never contain, where the braided hose connects to the swivel body . The appearance of the braided metal hose then began to deteriorate (oxidize) because of hard water deposits. You can't clean the braided metal hose, so it began to look ugly. I believe it was because of these leaks that the swivel body itself began to bind up so it became more and more difficult to to rotate the neck between the two sinks. It didn't take long before the swivel froze and the entire faucet began to slowly unscrew itself from the sink whenever the neck was moved from sink to sink. This was not an easy install to begin with, and replacing the d***n thing took almost a whole day. In the end I would not buy another one of these even if it was half the price. Beware of this design that uses only one sink hole, especially if you have hard water; it can't possibly be "locked" to the sink and will eventually unscrew itself. Time has revealed the weaknesses of this faucet design. I threw it in the trash and got the same kind of three-hole faucet that I had for over twenty years.

Five Stars
Great. Take out the restrictor and you get great flow/pressure. Looks great and works well

The star of my kitchen
This faucet is indeed the star of my kitchen. To date, I have had no problems with it. There is a small sound that the pump makes at lower flow rates, but apart from that, it has met my expectations. If you are looking for a statement piece that is also functional, this would be it! Also, the price being offered on Amazon is far better than what you will find at most retailers.

Great looking faucet
I would have given this faucet 5 stars, its great looking, easy to use and easy to install. I've had it a month and the only problem I have with it is the spray pressure. I would like a higher pressure for rinsing dishes and washing vegetables. I checked the specifications on line and the flow rate was quoted 2.2 gpm but the actual specification sheet that comes with it quotes the flow rate only 1.75 gpm so I was disappointed with that. However, I would recommend this to others because its a high quality and beautiful faucet.

Well worth the cost.
I am pretty fussy (okay very fussy if you ask my kids) about taps, faucets, shower heads, etc., but this one meets all my criteria. It really works well, the spray faucet works very well, and the bar is super handy for putting a dishcloth on it to dry, when we are not having company. I have had it over a year now, and no problems.
