Great for fun and science lesson
I used this as an educational tool for what happens when we add something to a molecular structure. What helped even more was the package suggesting to add salt and watch the water separate from the product. More scientific schooling in that. Now it’s being used in homemade squishy things. The smell is rubbery but not overpowering. It stays on the state you mix it too. We’ve had some made for over a week and no separation. Fun on many levels for kids especially for those that need that tactile experience.

I use this one pulling toilets to minimize water leaking water
Been using this item for years, works great in toilets to keep water from spilling when working on the flange or changing out toilets. Sprinkle a few spoonfuls in and it turns into a gel. My package this time got damaged, the cap was busted and shipping and had a little bit in my mailbox and in the bag. Didn't think it was a big deal, until I went out to mailbox after a rain and there was wet gel in there with a check, thankfully the check was not damaged just the junk mail :-)

exactly what I was looking for
Exactly what I wanted. Made a few ice-packs with the stuff using zipper-seal bags. Took a bit of experimentation to get a preferred consistency. It does freeze as solid as regular water (great for ice chest use). The packs I made for muscle/joint soothing stay in the refrigerator as cool-packs, I just swap 'em out after they warm up. Also can be microwaved a short time to be used as a warm-pack. Note: this stuff can squeeze through the zipper seal over time so it's best to either permanently heat-seal the bag or at least double-bag. For ice-packs I found a 5:1 ratio of water to rubbing alcohol loosens it up a little so it doesn't freeze completely solid so quickly. best to add the rubbing alcohol after the sodium polyacrylate has had time to fully absorb the water.

This product will amaze you. These are very tiny microbeads (powerlike) and once fully hydrated will become a very clear transparent gel. No lumps. I didn't try this but I would guess that this container would probably fill a bathtub + with gel! I have taught biology and chemistry at the college levels for 25 years and was still amazed. I used this for gel ice packs. Simply add 1/2 tsp. water and any color food coloring you want to a gallon zip-lock bag and you will end up with a 25.00 ice pack. (add rubbing alcohol and it won't freeze solid) My grandkids made about 25 gallon sized packs for all their teammates. They use them to cool down during a baseball game sand still have plenty left. ARRIVED IN 2 DAYS...GOTTA LOVE THAT FREE PRIME SHIPPING!!!!!!!!!
