So I bit the bullet and ordered this fine instrument. It’s better that anything I could imagine. Sharpness out of box you could shave with. The lightless and balance are delightful. Took out an onion and it cut like warm butter. Order the two sided sharpening stone while you are at it; as thing thing you will use and fall in love with - it makes cooking more effortless - and cleans so easily.
