It is very enjoyable to use and YES it takes up space but I have the room for it. We added a support between the legs as I do mostly large quilts. Yes it did sag without the support we made when fully extended but now very sturdy. If you wish to make it smaller simply remove the support we made and adjust it smaller. I don't think a support is needed when it is in the smaller size. I love that I don't have to hand baste anymore. 5 stars for this frame!!!!!! Review: Just as promised - This quilting frame is just as I imagined. Reviews had me ready for a fight, but assembly wasn't hard at all. It took my husband and myself about 3 hrs. I'm looking forward to using it, just as soon as I get my next quilt top finished ## Features - Excellent front-to-back tension is achieved with three 30-tooth ratchet wheels - Now install you fabric without tacks or tape! Simply align your fabric and push in using the tubing - The EZ3 has a light-weight, yet sturdy design. It is made from premium dense Baltic birch plywood - The rails are aluminum extrusions made specifically with the quilting process in mind - When you need extra space simply fold the EZ3 and store it against the wall, or even under the bed ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002NR5CD8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #581,399 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #141 in Quilting Frames | | Brand | Grace Frame | | Brand Name | Grace Frame | | Color | Natural | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 126 Reviews | | Item Weight | 20 pounds | | Manufacturer | Grace Frame | | Manufacturer Part Number | FBA_EZ3 | | Material | Baltic Birch Plywood, Aluminum | | Material Type | Baltic Birch Plywood, Aluminum | | Model Name | FBA_EZ3 | | Model Number | FBA_EZ3 | | Shape | Round | | UPC | 636343346484 | | Warranty Description | 1 year limited warranty through the grace company. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Grace Frame - **Color:** Natural - **Item Weight:** 20 pounds - **Material:** Baltic Birch Plywood, Aluminum - **Model Name:** FBA_EZ3 ## Images ![Grace Start-Right EZ3 No-Baste Hand Quilting Frame - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61XvT64-5UL.jpg) ![Grace Start-Right EZ3 No-Baste Hand Quilting Frame - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71fkC9iqzeL.jpg) ![Grace Start-Right EZ3 No-Baste Hand Quilting Frame - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/717VFXQFvVL.jpg) ![Grace Start-Right EZ3 No-Baste Hand Quilting Frame - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51lsQon73GL.jpg) ![Grace Start-Right EZ3 No-Baste Hand Quilting Frame - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51unfz-0gHL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love mine *by T***N on September 21, 2021* I love this frame and I am sad the company is only making frames for long arms. Reviews had me ready for a fight, but assembly wasn't hard at all. It took my husband and myself about 3 hrs. I'm looking forward to using it, just as soon as I get my next quilt top finished ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's not steady *by D***S on March 15, 2025* My mother has done lots of quilting using her old square frame. So I thought this would be ideal for her. Once I've got it and put together , it's not steady at all. I like the top part for quilting , it's the legs that not right for us. I will keep this and redo the leg portion to make it steady for her. The thought is great. ## Frequently Bought Together - Grace Start-Right EZ3 No-Baste Hand Quilting Frame - Grace Bungee Clamps | Fabric Clamps for Frame Quilting | Fabric Bungee Clips for Quilting Frame | Compatible with All Grace Frames | Long Arm & Frame Quilt Clips --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/8787283-grace-start-right-ez3-no-baste-hand-quilting-frame](https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/8787283-grace-start-right-ez3-no-baste-hand-quilting-frame) --- *Product available on Desertcart Saudi Arabia* *Store origin: SA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
