Bertucci A-1S Field Clock

This is a great watch, tough (unbreakable strap bars), 100m water resistant, hard wearing strap, very legible, and accurate. In fact it is lucky it is tough, because the Amazon US packaging was terrible! No box, no instructions, just stuck in a plastic bag and put in a thin jiffy bag, I am amazed the watch crossed the Atlantic without any sign of damage, even the crown was unscrewed....to be honest, if it hadn't had the case back sticker on it, I would have wondered if it was new. Conclusion: Watch brilliant, Amazon packaging poor.

I have a lot of watches - mostly field watches including some higher end pieces - as something of a self regarded field watch connoisseur (some may say watch snob) I am delighted with how well made this watch is - it has features that many higher end field watches lack - screw down crown - 100 metre water resistance - screw down case back - 4'oclock crown position for comfort (excellent idea) - all stainless steel - beautifully finished - highly legible - great lume - it ticks every box and is just about the perfect field watch - I'd even go as far as saying I think I prefer it to the 'benchmark' Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical and it's way better built than a MIL spec Pulsar G10 MOD issue watch - highly versatile and comfortably accepts any 20mm NATO or single pass strap so you can dress it up or down - near perfect in all regards - if you only want ONE field watch buy this one and save a few hundred pounds into the bargain on a higher end piece with less specs

This watch is great, white plain figures on a black backround ideal for those of a certain age (50+) whose eyesight is not what it used to be, the watch is accurate, stylish and robust, however the strap supplied is like wearing a length of 2" by 1" timber, I thought it would soften with time but after 4 weeks of 16 hours per day wearing it hasn't. I will have to get a more comfortable strap. The suppliers of these fine watches should make an effort to provide a nicer quality strap but in saying that do not be put off buying one because of an easily replaced accessory.

I have been looking for a long time for a watch like this, basic but well built, the only thing that could make it better is if it never needed a battery, this will now be my main everyday watch. I thoroughly recommend it. The seller should also be noted for a first class service. Thank you.

As solid Japanese movement so far keeps great time and is a very nice looking field watch

I've been fond of field type watches for as long as I can remember. I own about a dozen, so when it was time to choose a birthday gift for a close friend of mine I decided to get her a field watch of her own. Yes, this is a man's watch but I think its small enough that it will look good on a woman too. Especially considering the currently ridiculous style of wearing HUGE watches. When I received this watch in the mail I carefully looked it over and was impressed by both the simplicity and the quality. The watch has solid end lugs so there are no pins to fail. This means you will always have to use one piece straps, but for a field watch this is a good thing. I was very impressed with the machined parts and the band was higher quality than I expected. The crown being at the 4 o'clock position is about one of the smartest things I've ever seen on a watch. The dial is very easy to read and uncomplicated. This watch has no complications and simply tells time...like a good field watch should. So in the end its about as perfect a field watch as one could ask for. There is nothing remarkable about it and that's it's strong point! It's just a good, solid, simple watch that could go just about anywhere. Update: Now it's August of 2018 and I needed to get a new watch for myself. I remembered this one and ordered it via Amazon again. Watch arrived in two days! The same watch I remembered only now it has a newer and improved nylon band. This watch is just about perfect for an everyday field watch!

Model 36mm - Originale et peu commune dans nos contrées. Bien pour les bras fins. Bonne qualité pour cette montre, ça sent le solide. Et ça semble valoir les seiko et autres montres a Quartz de milieu de gamme. Un seul petit scratch sur le verre trempe au bout de 2 mois, donc ca ne vaut pas le saphir -- mais vu mon utilisation tout terrain (bricolage en mecanique, etc), je m'attendais a pire. Le verre légèrement en renfoncement y fait probablement pour beaucoup. Utilisée lors de sport aquatique (surf, natation, plongeons, ..), sous douche chaude: aucune humidité qui passe. Comme indique par certains, la trotteuse est mal alignée avec les indications des secondes, c'est dommage mais n’étant pas maniaque, j'ai fais abstraction. La luminescence nocturne est belle, et dure assez longtemps -- plusieurs heures après, on peut encore lire l'heure dans le noir. La bande style NATO est très solide et bien finie.
