After using Folgers for decades, I started straying to other brands because I was no longer satisfied with the flavor. In fact, it seemed a bit off. I kept checking labels for additives, but no, the other brans stated 100% coffee. Come to find out the difference could be in the packaging. When I opened the can of Hills Brothers coffee the wonderful aroma hit me immediately. So much so that I grabbed my other coffee and gave it a sniff. They were different!! I made a pot and could smell the difference as it brewed. It was the can!! The steel can!! Chemicals from the plastic cans had been leaching into the other coffees. Steel does not give off chemicals.
