High quality exact fit and function 09 ford ranger
Direct fit for 2009 ford ranger 2.3 engine. I noticed the fuel pump making a humming noise when turning the ignition key to the on position. The original filter had 129,000 on it and was very black when i cut it open and inspected it. Easy to change since the fuel lines have quick release clips, 10-15 minutes. This is a high quality fuel filter made of stainless steel so it wont rust. Best price is on amazon. Recommend. Humming noise from fuel pump is gone now.

Real Motorcraft filter
Nice heavy duty made in America fuel filter. I haven't put it in yet, but the quality is unmatched with generic. Im actually about to pull a cheap duralst off, and put it on tomorrow.

Helped with sluggish acceleration
2011 Ford Ranger 2.3L 70k miles had some sluggish acceleration when applying half throttle or more....you could feel the acceleration pickup as you let off the throttle as you came down past around the 50% mark. I tried new plugs & wires, air filter, injector cleaner, MAF cleaned, it all made it a tiny bit better, but the problem still persisted. Finally, this new fuel filter fixed it. It was fuel starvation due to a clogged filter all along! Probably was the original filter. Super easy install, not much gas leaked out, but have a small pan ready anyways. Wear your safety glasses and be prepared for a little fuel spray to come out.

There were no protective caps on the ends, just installed, seems to be ok.

Best price on a needed item
Exact OEM product for a 2008 Ford Ranger with a 2.3L. Super easy replacement, takes about 5 minutes and no tools required. Just strong fingers to squeeze the release buttons. The lines themselves are different sizes so there is no confusion or need to mark them before removal. Sadly, local stores want almost 50% more $$ for this fuel filter.

This product was purchased for my vehicle and is not applicable*. Also I ordered only one ‘fuel filter’ and two showed up in separate deliveries. *my vehicle has a fuel filter / strainer in the fuel tank.
