Review: Great for budding engineers... and their dads! - I like that this book is intriguing to young minds (son is turning 7) but does not talk down to them. Lots of color images and step by step guides building on previous chapters. This will provide hours and hours of education and entertainment and does not require any additional stuff outside of the book and the Lego Boost set - which is also brilliant. When my son started building the robots he said - 'this is the best lego set ever' which coming from him is high praise indeed. In addition to the great projects in the book, it also inspires you to use some of what you have learned in your own builds. This would be good for boys and girls. A big fan!!

I like that this book is intriguing to young minds (son is turning 7) but does not talk down to them. Lots of color images and step by step guides building on previous chapters. This will provide hours and hours of education and entertainment and does not require any additional stuff outside of the book and the Lego Boost set - which is also brilliant. When my son started building the robots he said - 'this is the best lego set ever' which coming from him is high praise indeed. I bought the Lego Boost set, and was so frustrated by the app, that I almost sent it back. If you value your sanity, don't get Lego Boost unless you also get this book. Clear explanations of how to code, without having to learn everything by trial and error. Indispensable.
