When cutting it you don’t want to loose any of the colour brick effect from the front, otherwise you have to do some colouring in afterwards. Also there are some gaps noticeable but I can fill these if I want to. All in all I think it adds realism to the brick effect panels. I would bug again and the seller used UPS delivery which came the next working day. Arrived quickly and were undamaged. Only issue I have is that they are more of a 'pinky' shade than the 'deep red' shade I had expected. If you bear that in mind when choosing yours, you should be fine. I did get an immediate reply from the supplier when I mentioned the difference in shade. So - back up should be easy if you have a problem. Obviously, they couldn't help me because we'd already put them in place. I got them to go behind my new Dimplex Optimyst fire. I'm starting to get used to the shade difference, so they will stay there now. Very easy to use in small areas. I've no idea how they would work over large areas or outdoors.
