I only run 1 color of thread through the top while I am embroidering. I lay out all my thread on the other spindles. It is a simple and fast way of organizing a project. It has made a huge difference in my thread unwinding and running through my machine as it should. No more broken upper thread due to winding around the spool pin as the spool pin was designed sideways. Mine came in white, even though the product stated gray. I am very pleased with the white color. This is very sturdily made. It is absolutely a time saver. If you have the PE770, you need this. Save yourself the headache of broken upper thread.
