I recently purchased a little while ago, the MAONO AU04 microphone, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. From the moment I unboxed it, the build quality impressed me.. it feels sturdy, professional, and well-made. For the price I got what I paid for and I am for the most part satisfied. I upgraded from apple earbuds to this microphone due to my earbuds always eventually dying. I would say the sound of my voice is quite similar between the two, they are very comparable (apple earbuds - $20).The boom arm is convenient but I found that mounting it to the back of the desk is the best option, because if you mount it to the side it gets in the way of my second monitor, but when mounted to the back it is not a nuisance at all.My boom arm does swivel easily/move in ways I don’t want it to when I try to move it closer or to the side or further, etc. but I just have to adjust it a bit more when that happens.I found that the microphone cover accessory muffles my voice too much so I don’t use it. The other circular accessory (I forgot the name) doesn’t change much to sound quality, but I think it is supposed to protect the microphone from your mouths moisture? But for me it is very large and annoys me so I just don’t use that accessory.

I have the white version of this mic and it’s amazing. I got this black version and it had some issues with it. But it happened in shipping so it wasn’t the mic. Because the white version is the identical microphone just different color. And I absolutely love it. I had to return the black version but the white version is spectacularI own a ton of their microphones along with some of their other accessories like audio interfaces and headphones, and I absolutely love this company. So when I saw this microphone, it was one I had not tried before and one I genuinely wanted to test out.I’m also kind of going through a white setup era right now, so the look of this mic immediately caught my attention. When I got it in person, it looked just as good as I hoped.Of course, as always with this brand, the sound quality was absolutely on point. Chef’s kiss. The audio coming out of this mic sounds amazing. It has that rich condenser microphone sound with great detail and warmth, and the 192kHz/24bit recording capability gives you really clean, professional sounding audio.The build quality was phenomenal too, which has honestly been my experience with this brands products overall. Everything feels durable and well made. The microphone has a premium all metal feel and does not feel cheap at all.I also love how versatile this setup is because you get both USB and XLR connectivity. You can literally plug it directly into your computer and start recording right away, or connect it to an audio interface or mixer if you want to build out a more advanced setup later. Setup was super easy and honestly took almost no time.You are getting so much in this kit too. It comes with the boom arm, shock mount, pop filter, foam windscreen, USB cable, and everything you need to get started. I especially like that they included multiple layers of noise reduction between the cardioid pickup pattern, the accessories, and the software controls in USB mode.The software options are another nice touch because you can adjust gain, noise reduction, EQ settings, and dial in your sound more depending on what you are recording.For the price, this is an amazing value. You are getting professional level sound quality, a durable setup, easy plug and play use, and a complete package right out of the box. You can literally plug this in and boom, you are ready to go.This is just another reason why I love MAONO.

Great Quality Mic for Voice Acting,love how crisp thr audio sounds when recording. Audio is clear and loud. Setup was easy other than the boom arm not fitting on my desk but I wasnt really planing on using it anyways. Connects really easily you just plug it into your computer and change your mic input and your good. Light weight but even without the boom arm it stays stable on your desk. Functions great as a mic for anything

I’m absolutely impressed with this microphone! I have it connected to my laptop for gaming and live streaming, and it’s a total game-changer. The best part is how adjustable it is; I can move it exactly where I need it so it never gets in my way while I’m playing.The sound quality is very detailed and "sensorial"—it picks up every nuance of my voice, making my streams sound professional and clear. It captures my voice perfectly without background noise, which is essential for my "en vivos." The microphone itself is very good, and provides excellent sound quality. I wanted to give this 5 stars. But I cant.Because in just a little over a year, the "wrist" of the mic boom which holds the microphone on the end of the mic boom, broke. First the bolt snapped. So I bought a replacement bolt at the hardware store, and then when I tried to bolt it back on, the cheap aluminum that the bolt uses to hold the microphone onto the boom broke in my hand.I have included a photo of the damage in my review.

Además, viene en un kit muy completo que te saca de apuros: trae su brazo, su araña, un filtro antipop también en blanco y hasta los cables USB/Tipo C para conectarlo sin adaptadores raros. También incluye su propia esponja antipop al tono que le da un toque estético muy cuidado y limpio a tu set de grabación.A diferencia de otros micrófonos sencillos que se sienten livianos o de plástico, este se percibe pesado, firme y bastante robusto desde que lo sacas del empaque. La construcción se nota de otra categoría y la calidad de audio que ofrece va sobrada si estás buscando darle un salto de calidad a tu contenido o estás armando un proyecto ya un poco más serio.Yo lo incluí en mi flujo de trabajo como un segundo micrófono de respaldo para grabar instrumentos de cuerdas como guitarra y Ukelele, y me da un sonido brillante con buenos armónicos
