I've had trouble finding a good pair of cargo shorts - most of the time the material is too thin and feels like you're wearing a pair of chinos cut in half. I prefer a 'heavier' material for cargo shorts because I find it frames your lower legs better than thin floppy shorts, and these shorts do indeed have that heavier feel to them.The fittings are good quality and the pockets are a good size. I am 5ft 9" tall and ordered a 34" Medium - they fit around the waist perfectly - not too tight and not too loose, and they fall to the perfect length at the knee. A couple of the press studs on the pockets came off after the first couple of wears and I had to reinforce the stitching in a couple of places.
