It works. I don't use the pump. I feel that using the pump wastes so much of the rub. The smell works great for us. Helps clear out the sinus. **Q: Is this made in China?** A: Its made in India and it works wonders I recommend it to any one in pain. I also like the neck and shoulder lotion. I have not been without Tiger Balm in some form (I prefer the tiny jar of thick salve) to dab just under nose at the onset of a winter "Cold". I knew of this Oriental OTC medication developed by "Aw Boon Haw" since 1940's in California. In 1958 , while I was enroute to Korea, a Korean Army Major noticed my case of the "Sniffles" and introduced me to the small jar of salve. Just a dab under each nostril successfully halted the cold from developing. After many years of Tiger Balm use, I discovered the pump bottle lotion version for my common arthritis and muscle pain. Like another product; "A little dab will do ya". Caution: do not get it in your eyes.
