## Description

The Bosch GOL32CK has a 32x power lens that allows more light for a sharper image and excellent magnification. The level is equipped with a self-leveling comepnsator with transport lock to protect the pendulum from damage while in the carrying case. The optical level is easy to set-up with a circular bubble vial with 90 degree mirror. The level offers both horizontal and vertical crosshairs and stadia lines in order to measure level and aligmnent and estimate ditance. It is equpiied with a solid metal base and three precision leveling screws for stability. It includes the optical level, a tripod, rod, hard case, lens cap, plumb bob and adjustment tools.

Review: easy to use - Great deal for the money. Mine came with a calibration certificate. If you have any experience at all with a builders level you will find the set up to be not difficult at all. If you haven't set up an optical level before I'd recommend setting up your tripod and getting the platform level with a bullet level and then locking your optical level on. You will save yourself a lot of time and aggravation. I had my bubble centered in three minutes doing it this way. My eyesight is terrible and I would say the optics on this are excellent. To get a quality brand optical level with a tripod and stick is a great deal for this price.

A: This is a kit put together by Bosch.  The rod only comes in feet and inches.

Great deal for the money. Mine came with a calibration certificate. If you have any experience at all with a builders level you will find the set up to be not difficult at all. Fantastic! Works great. Packaged and shipped professionally. The Level, the tripod, and the Rod, all operate easily. The case for the level is awesome. The base of the tripod actually has rubber boots over top of the sharp spikes. I didn't realize the rubber covers were meant to come off at first because they are slightly pointed. It appeared that they were the actual spikes, but remove the rubber covers to reveal the very sharp spikes for ensuring the tripod does not slip on soft surfaces like soil or sod. The rubber boots are awesome for harder surfaces such as rock, concrete or tile. It took a little getting used to how to ensure the level is actually level, but some spins on the three adjustment knobs centers up the bubble and it is then level. Sighting through the scope was not simple to figure out... the knob on the right-hand side of the level controls the zoom of the telescope and the lens knob around the viewfinder then provides the fine focus. If you must get the zoom focus correct first and then adjust the fine focus. It was difficult to keep remembering that the rise and fall of the slope being measured is inversely related to the feet and inches shown on the rod. Overall this set is awesome. Once you get used to how to adjust everything, it is really awesome!!!
