Drop in ready
The JetKVM KVM Over IP ATX Extension Board is a must have for a lab or production server with no built in IPMI. This ATX extension board allows for the remote management of your system with or without direct logical access to the system. It goes between your panel connectors and the chassis. Installation is a breeze with no need to use an actual PCIe slot on the motherboard. As long as your computer case has a slot, this works well ensuring wide compatibility. Once setup in your system, you will need a JetKVM to complete the setup. The cool thing about this module is that you can use your JetKVM without an HDMI or USB connection to the system if you only need remote power management. This helps with improving security as it does allow you to logically remove access and only have physical control over power to the system. Overall, this was an easy install and worked great!

No support for long-press of the power button.
Nicely built device for remotely controlling yesterday's PCs. No support for long press of the power button. Works great otherwise. Not useful if you have a modern PC with no reset button that requires you to long-press the power button to reset it when it's hung.

Must-have upgrade for a clean JetKVM setup
If you’re running a JetKVM in a proper setup, this is one of those accessories that just makes everything better. Installation is quick and painless. This mounts cleanly inside the case and connects right to the motherboard front panel headers. I had it installed in no time, no guesswork, no weird wiring issues. These boards are designed to integrate directly with your system’s power/reset headers, so the process is pretty straightforward if you’ve ever worked inside a PC. It's compatible with regular and low-profile cases. Functionality is excellent. It lets you control power and reset remotely while still keeping your physical front panel buttons working. That dual-header design is a smart touch and keeps everything fully usable . Build quality and design are solid. It feels like a proper accessory, not some afterthought. The included bracket helps keep everything routed cleanly through the case, which is exactly what you want in a rack or server environment. Value is very good. For what it adds in convenience, cable management, and functionality, it’s absolutely worth the price. Especially if you’re trying to keep a clean home lab or rack setup. If you have a JetKVM, this isn’t optional, it’s a must-have. Clean install, reliable performance, and it makes your setup look and function the way it should. Definitely buying more for future builds.

Remote power control that feels like a superpower
If you’re running a JetKVM setup, this little board is honestly awesome. It gives you full remote power and reset control of your PC, which can be worth its weight in gold when the machine you need to reboot is… not anywhere near you. The install is pretty straightforward. It connects into your motherboard’s front panel headers and passes everything through so both the JetKVM and your normal case power/reset buttons still work. No choosing one or the other — both stay active, which is exactly how it should be. A nice bonus is that it comes with both half-height and full-height brackets, so whether you’re building in a compact system or a full tower, you’ve got options for routing the cable cleanly out the back of the case. It doesn’t actually use a PCIe slot, but the bracket keeps everything tidy instead of having wires sneaking out of random case holes. Only small gripe: the wiring could be labeled a bit better. It’s not hard to figure out, but clearer labeling would make installation faster. Other than that, it’s a great little piece of kit. Between this and the JetKVM, you basically get remote hands for your computer’s power button, which is incredibly useful once you start relying on it. This whole setup is a great value, you'd easily spend double to get a enterprise grade motherboard with these features.

Just what I needed.
This add-on makes remote control of a PC a lot more practical, especially if you’re already using JetKVM. It lets you handle power actions like turning a system on or recovering from a freeze without being physically there. Hooking it up is fairly straightforward, and it’s nice that it still keeps the normal case buttons working too, so you don’t lose local control. The cable setup also ends up looking cleaner thanks to the bracket that helps route things neatly through the case. It's easy to connect and use. I like that it’s a useful upgrade if you want more reliable out-of-band control for a desktop or server setup without adding extra clutter.

I mistakenly thought this was a JetKVM. Its just an accessory for one.
I misunderstood this item description. When I submitted my order I was on a cell phone and didn't see the part about it being an extension board. I thought it was a JetKVM that mounted to an expansion slot. On the bright side, what the item description is, is what I received. The build quality of the PCB is top notch.

Essential Remote Power Control Upgrade for JetKVM Setups
Compact but powerful add-on for JetKVM users. The ATX control board makes remote power management super convenient—being able to boot, shut down, and recover a crashed system without physically touching the PC is a huge win. Setup is straightforward if you’re already in the JetKVM ecosystem, and it works reliably once configured. Definitely a niche product, but for homelab or remote admin use, it adds a lot of value.

Unnecessarily short cable
This ATX extension board is a specialized add-on for the JetKVM that enables remote power and reset control for a PC. It includes a PCIe bracket for tidy cable routing and an RJ12 cable that provides both power and data to the module. The board features dual headers, which is great because it lets you keep your original case buttons active while also giving the KVM control. In my Proxmox setup, this is a very useful tool for managing a server that has hung and needs a hard reset. The hardware is well-built and fits easily into a spare slot without needing an actual PCIe connection. One drawback is that the included RJ12 cable is very short. This greatly limits where you can place the JetKVM, especially in a rackmount chassis where you might need more reach to the back of the case. Overall, this is an almost essential upgrade for anyone using a JetKVM for remote management. It simplifies the setup by using a single cable for power and control, and it is much more affordable than buying an enterprise motherboard with built-in IPMI. While the wiring could be easier to identify and the cable length is tight, it works exactly as intended once it is plugged in and configured.

essential addon for jetkvm
This is an addon device for the jetkvm to control the power on/off state of a computer It includes a RJ12 cable, jst cable for pc control, standard pc backplate, low profile backplate Note that the RJ12 cable isn't the same as standard cables, it has a straight through run rather than reversed and is quite short, being less than 30cm The RJ12 cable that is included attaches to the jetkvm, and gets power and uart to the ATX module. The cable is unlabeled for all the power, hdd led pins, and makes it difficult to wire up. Thankfully this is mostly a one and done situation, which worked once plugged in while theres 2 sets of pins for the button breakout, only 1 ribbon cable is included. This poses an issue for cases where the power cable cant reach the back of the case. You'd have to supply your own extension wires low profile backplate doesn't fit PC cases. It will interfere with the motherboard On the software side, it's open source, the C code is publicly available and free to modify and flash this unfortunately cant be daisy chained with another module or the dc extension board due to the nature of UART Overall it's a nice and almost essential add-on that allows control of a PC power state to the web UI, I wish it was part of the main bundle. I like that it gets external power from the jetkvm so I don't have to worry about power from the PC, but should include better wires
