If I’ve gotta use a cane, it’s going to be one that makes a statement worthy of the GenX spirit — and this one absolutely does. At 5'3", I ordered the shortest height option, and it needed a slight 3-inch adjustment to fit me just right. The seller was upfront about that, with clear instructions on how to measure and even offering taller sizes by special order. That kind of transparency builds trust, and I appreciated it. For anyone considering their size, this little detail might help. Now, the listing says it’s “non‑weight bearing,” and technically that’s true — it’s marketed as a fashion cane, not a medical device. But here’s the real talk: I’m 5'2" on a good day and about 110 pounds, and it feels solid in my hand. I use it for balance when dizziness hits, and it gives me confidence. Reading other reviews, I saw plenty of folks using it for steadiness too, and I agree it feels strong enough for that. When PT first ordered me a cane, I was discouraged. My ego was under attack — I’m only 55, not nearly ready for what felt like a “senior” accessory. But this cane flipped the script. Beauty and function with high quality thrown in. I need a cane that is sturdy. Due to a fall that damaged my C5, 6 and 7 I have great difficulty walking. My cane gives me freedom from my power wheelchair and is much easier, less cumbersome than a walker. When I came across the wolf head cane on Amazon I wanted it right away. I couldn't be more pleased. It's sturdy and beautiful. The handle is oh so comfortable in my hand. The wolf's head makes a fashion statement with my many wolf t-shirts. (OK, some of us have a different fashion sense than others. ) The fact that this is made in war torn Ukraine is wonderful. In short; beauty, quality, functionality.

I ordered this cane for my sister. I unpacked it and the handle screws right on to a hand tight fit and has remained that way for the past couple of weeks. It's beautiful, sturdy, and screams quality. She loves it. it is light weight and fits in your hand comfortably. This cane is nothing like the cheaper metal ones, it seems more old school and I trust it will make her more safe. She has regular doctors visits and several have already asked where she got it so they can order one. It is great to see such a quality product still being made and at a reasonable price for what you get compared to other current options.

I’ve needed a cane to get around for the last 4-5 months. Originally I’d bought a run of the mill metal cane thinking it would be durable - it wasn’t. I saw Asterom’s canes here on Amazon and thought they looked exceptional. The Asterom website and their storefront on Amazon provides a lot of wonderful information about the craftsmanship and materials so I purchased one. This product is UNMATCHED in quality and craftsmanship!! I don’t like needing a cane but if I have to use one I’m thrilled to have one that is beautiful, durable, and wonderfully crafted by people who care about their work. I will be buying additional handles… they look outstanding. I highly recommend Asterom and you should be confident that you’ll be deeply pleased if you buy one too. An additional note: I emailed with Oleg Asterom and he was wonderful to deal with. The original purchase I made from Amazon was shipped by the USPS. Amazon shipping is always flawless but when they occasionally use the USPS as a shipping partner things have a much much higher likelihood of being lost and that’s exactly what happened with the first purchase. I reached out to Asterom directly to let them know about this and Oleg was EXTREMELY helpful and I admire their attention to their customers’ satisfaction. Such a wonderful company!!

I didn't actually expect to need a cane but I recently had a foot injury which necessitated getting one. I didn't want just a generic cane and considered commissioning a custom walking stick from the same person who made my custom shepherds crook. However, the delivery time would have been too long so I searched for custom canes on Amazon. I found this one online and the picture looked good and the price was reasonable. I liked that it is handmade by a small craftsman. I chose the one udentied as a wolf because I thought the carving actually looked a bit like one of my Border Collies. The stick arrived in two pieces (the handle had to be screwed in) but it only took about 5 seconds to put together. The stick is beautiful and - if you going to need a cane - you might as well have one that draws comment about how distinguished it looks. One practical point. Use a tape measure from your hand height in cane position to the ground to measure and order the right length. I measured from the cane I left the hospital with and the length is perfect.

This cane is a substantial piece of wood. I now have 2 from this company. I do like "statement" canes as I am a bit of a showoff. The problem I have with this one is the carved wooden wolf's head chips very easily. After many months of use my poor wolf is missing an ear and part of his nose. Apart from the ornamental concerns, the cane is solid, not flimsy and will last for years. As a plus the company that makes these is in Ukraine and I support their heroic stand against the Russian invasion.

Very nice walking cane. The workmanship on the handle with the carved wolfs head is outstanding. The stain is perfect, no runs, or clumps etc. If you ever worked with staining a piece of wood you'll understand. The handle is very comfortable in my hand. I recommend to any one who wants to purchase and elegant cane. Balance: Helps me with my balance when my right leg calf muscle cramps up.

Das ist meine Rezension seit ewig langer Zeit, aber hier habe ich einfach das Bedürfnis diesen Gehstock und die Firma dahinter zu loben. Die Lieferung dauerte zwar länger als geplant, aber es ist auch ein weiter Weg nach Österreich. Als ich den schön gut verpackten Stock ausgepackt hatte, war ich einfach nur noch begeistert. Man merkt förmlich dass dort in der Ukraine bei dieser Firma alles mit Liebe gehandhabt wird. Die Qualität und Verarbeitung sprechen einfach für sich. Einfach ein Traum dieser Gehstock.
