What is the proper way to use this?** A: I too noticed this in the beginning. The best way I believe to test is to hold the battery in testing position for around 10 seconds . If it is a dead battery it will start showing weaker signals within after 2-3 seconds. Never go with the initial reading as soon as you place the battery. I must have collected a dozen used batteries , some slightly, some completely. Don't know where they come from but those of you that wear hearing aids know what I'm talking about.
