久しぶり（4年ぐらい）のメジャーデビュー作から4作目の新作。久ぶりの作品なのに全く色あせていない、1曲目からこれぞMEWという世界が再現されます。静謐なピアノ、変則的なリズム、ギターの歪み、そして（齢40は過ぎているはずの）ヨーナスの相変わらずの少年のような柔らかい声が歌を紡ぎます。よく聴いているとギターもリズムも変則的な音でプログレの血統も持っていますが、サビでは分かりやすく印象に残る音を響かせてくれます。ただ前衛的な音を鳴らして聴き手を挑発するということはせず、聴き手を刺激しつつも決して置き去りにはしません。この涼しげで透き通っている幻想的な音像を聴いていると北欧ファンタジーロックという言葉が浮かんできます。

シングルＰＶ見ていつも道理という認識で買いました。美メロ、クリーンな音色、変拍子、とヨーロピアンプログレをコンパクトにポップにした印象を受けます。表面は柔らかく、中身は変態。聞いてて気持ちいいです。

待った甲斐がありました～～～。いつも前作とは別物なのに間違いなくこの方たちの作品ですね！とても中身を語れる気はしないのですが、、、、いいものですよ。好きだなあ。
