I was smart & got the NON-programmable one this time. Why hassle with anything else? Why invite possible intrusions into your life with "Smart" thermostats & the hassle of setting those up? I tried "Smart" thermostats before & promptly returned them. I like the fact that it's NOT constantly lit up like all the "energy vampires" built into everything electric you buy. It illuminates to a soft blue when YOU want it to by hitting any button or touching the "illuminate" button on top. It's only been up a few days; all seems well. Only at the very beginning did it seem like the temp was a bit off, but it settled down in accuracy.
