Everything is packed nice and neatly in a big heavy duty zip-lock bag. And I do mean, HEAVY DUTY, not some sandwich bag as others have eluded to... Sure it would have been nice to have a carry case for this, but then the price goes up. I'm happy with their offering! The cutting mat, while small compared to others, works and looks great! And all the tools are of decent quality. From this kit, I mainly use the mat, metal files, ruler, drill and bits, polishing pads and sand paper. The scissors are strange and don't really work well for cutting sprues. The sharpening stones will come in handy once I need to hone an edge on my blades. To note* one of the stones was broken and a plastic handle was loose on a metal file. Super glue to the rescue!
