Makes beautiful crepes every time
I have no complaints with this crepe maker. It does exactly what I expected. It heats up quickly and evenly, and makes beautiful crepes every time. It would have been nice to have an instruction manual or user guide along with my recipe book; I'm not sure if it's supposed to come with one, but mine was missing. Despite the missing manual, there is not much to it so I was able to use it just fine. Tip: There is no on/off switch it just turns on as soon as you plug in, so keep the dial all the way down when you first plug it in and try not to touch the plate, it heats up quickly! Making crepes with this is super easy. Literally all you do is turn the dial to the temperature you want. The first part of the dial has a nice warmth that I use to melt a little bit of butter on it and pour my crepe mix to smooth out over the surface. Then dial it up to the second section where you choose how you would like your crepe light to dark. Just let it sit for a minute or so and flip once to cook the other side, then your crepe is done. The surface of the hot plate is very easy to clean. The only part that isn't so easy is if you use too much crepe mix and it overflows on the sides, it gets stuck in the crevice between the plate and the rest of the unit. Not impossible to clean, but a little bit of a pain. Normally, if you use this crepe maker correctly that wouldn't happen so you would have no problems, but this was a first time user error for me. Oops! Any problems I had making crepes with this were due to me being a novice crepe maker and not knowing what I'm doing, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly and actually use this multiple times a week. I love this crepe maker! Excellent purchase.

10/10 would recommend
I was skeptical how the crepes would turn out. I've tried other pans and all sorts of techniques and could never get a nice thin crepe without ripping or sticking. I also didn't think I'd need one more appliance in my closet. But it was so easy to use, I got perfect crepes the first time I used it. Still working on my technique with the spreader tool, but so so happy with how they came out. I just put a little avocado oil on a small paper towel and just gave it a swipe over the surface between crepes.

The Appliance I Didn't Know I Needed but Now Deeply Love
I bought this crepe maker on a whim, thinking it would end up next to the waffle iron in the Land of Forgotten Kitchen Gadgets. Nope. This thing earned a permanent spot on my counter faster than you can say "chocolate hazelnut." I use it every day. Not kidding. Breakfast? Crepes. Lunch? Savory crepes. Late night snack? Slightly burnt crepes that I eat anyway while standing over the sink like a gremlin. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and makes me feel far more French and sophisticated than I actually am. Clean-up is easy. Which is good, because I am lazy and will absolutely pretend a pan isn't dirty if it involves too much effort. This is just a quick wipe and done. If I could give it 11 stars I would. It brings me joy, carbs, and a false sense of culinary skill. Ten out of ten. No notes.

Oh my god! Why did I wait so long!
I have a gf recipe for this coconut/ almond tasting crepe, and oh man! It’s amazing! So good, and I just have the most fun making it on this. It’s a teeny bit of a learning curve because which way is it for on or high? And then you can’t have it too high to pour the batter or it won’t spread correctly. But all something you adjust to learning as you use. I use this to “grill/toast” myself a sandwich too. It is amazing! It crisps the bread JUST RIGHT! Not burnt, not overheated like a griddle. It’s just this light cooking and then it’s golden and warm and you’re enjoying this sandwich that now went from yum to mmmmm amazing! And everyone is wanting your sandwich now. I'm only mad that I waited so long to buy a crepe maker. This should have been a purchase I made years ago! The ONLY reason it has four stars over five is because a foot pad fell out the bottom. And it created uneven baking. I was trying to figure out ANYWAY I could to even out the sides. And I was looking one day and stumbled upon THE footpad my husband had found when he was washing everything and didn’t realize it came out from it. So I popped it back in. And it’s balanced now. But this was under one month of using it. So that’s shoddy work there. But overall, it holds up everywhere else. I even learned the other day you can wrap the cord around these prongs on the bottom. I’m so used to devices that do not give you that luxury so I never looked or noticed it. It’s a nice maker aside from that one hiccup.

Excellent Crepe Maker
Very pleased with this purchase. The crepes cook quickly and evenly, with no sticking, and no need to oil the surface between cooking each crepe. The owners manual and recipe book are available by using the QR code on the front of the box.

The best crepe maker so far
After buying different crepe makers over the years, this one is the best. Easy to use, easy to clean and provides a good even hot surface for your crepe. We have tried some of the recipes that come in the booklet, and enjoyed some new ways to eat crepes. For anyone making crepes, it takes practice after pouring the crepe mixture onto the plate, to get it into an even consistent surface. They give you the wooden t-bar to help swirl the mixture into a circle. But we use it to push the the mixture from the center out. It doesn't have to be an exact circle. The consistent shape is not as important as the even surface. This allows the crepe to cook more evenly, as the heat dispels some of the moisture, while cooking. Tasty crepes are easy to make with this one. We make extras, put them into ziplock bags, and have them later too. Enjoy!

Kids love it, love the extra large size
Totally obsessed with this! Had a smaller version of a crêpe maker and wanted to buy this so I didn’t have to make his money when I made them for the kids. Really easy to use, light, works great.

Updated after 2 months, 'ready' light misleading
I have used this a couple of times and have decided I love crepes at home. BUT after 2 months have several issues, but I will first say the maker DIES WORK. But even when the lights say ready, the maker could be almost 'cold', this issue just started, so I just crank it up to high and leave it there. The other issue is BOTH of the tools have become very rough, even though I never submerged them in water, I have to sand the down and but some baking wax on them. Please create an index for the recipe book.🙂 ALSO please provide a better quality spreader and flipper, after several uses the wood is getting 'rough' as stated. This machine is very nice and takes no effort to setup - I have not used any spray or butter ever. Since this particular maker has a bit of a lip on the edge you can not follow some peoples advice and start your spin in the middle and continuously move out, because the lip lifts your spinner up. What you have to do is keep the spinner mostly in the middle....you'll figure it out :-) Maybe it is obvious but it doesn't make sense to me. When you plug in the device and it is in the OFF position it indicates it is "ready".... The pan is cold, how can it be ready? The ready indicator is green glass, BUT when it is lite it looks more orange than any other color.

Easy to use!
We use this all the time. The crepe paddle could be better, but it works as intended.

I'm in so much trouble
I've wanted a crepe maker, a real one, aka electric, no handle, with spinner, for a few years. but they were always north of $60. I saw this the other day, and just went for it. Shoulda done it forever ago. It seems small miracle that I can now make myself crazy easy gluten free crepes, and other flavour vehicles, ad infinitum. I'm still getting the knack for it. The flipper seems okay, but the spinner I think was already loose after two days. I'm assuming both may need to be replaced at some point. Online vidoes use a metal anglged long spatula, but I'm not sure I want to do that on this one. Only complaint is there is no off button or auto off timer. if's plugged in, it's on, at minimal heat. Otherwise, I do wish it heated up a tad faster, buts honestly that's just me and 1st world impatience, it performs competently fine. Looking forward to the weekend, where I can head to an ethic grocery to get a bunch of different flour types. Oh, and this would be a great second cookign space if needed. Not sure it would totally replace a hot plate, or griddle, but it does say you can make bacon on it. I'll try scrambled eggs this weekend. Just make sure youre using soft bendy silicone on it, scratches would trash it pretty quickly. Love it! Get you one.
