After a while, that bed seemed *too* soft, and my middle back/thoracic spine had a lot of pain.I purchased this bed in a queen size and my partner and I absolutely love it. He is always warm when he sleeps, and the gel-form top layer really helps to keep the mattress cool at night. The gel-foam also provides a bit more support than the previous foam mattress top that we had. He is about 5'8"-5'9" and around 180 pounds, I'm 5'7" and 150, and we are both really comfortable on this mattress.It's exactly the right level of firm for us, we don't get that "sucked into the mattress" feeing that we used to have, and with the extra support, I can comfortably sleep on either my back or my sides without any back or joint pain.Really happy with this purchase, this is the best sleep I've gotten in years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2.5 years later updated review *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2018* Been sleeping on this mattress for over 2.5 years now so I wanted to update my review. My wife and I still love this mattress. Still the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned. As stated back in 2018 with me having two crushed vertebrae's in my back sleeping was a choir to say the least but I still to this day have no problems with back pain. The mattress has held up great.
