I have low-porosity, thick, coarse 2b hair. I've been using it for a month now, and I never have bad hair days. The scent, while not necessarily one I'd pick, is not unpleasant. The shampoo doesn't lather much, but I can tell it's still working. The fact that it doesn't have a nozzle like the conditioner is a little annoying, but it's not necessarily a problem. I comb the conditioner through my hair every time I use it, and I've noticed that enhances things even more. Even though the shampoo is pretty mild and the conditioner is fairly thick, my hair never looks oily, and it used to look greasy if I waited more than two days to wash. I especially love the smoothie. I use two fingers to scoop up a dollop, rub it between my hands, and scrunch it into my hair. I had originally purchased a hair gel with this and then realized I didn't need it because the smoothie did everything I needed the gel to. Where I used to get waves, I now have full curls, and where I used to have straight hair, I have waves. I honestly could not recommend this enough. All three of these work so well alone and with each other.
